Something unsettling about that clip. Mosley was talking like he was going to die if the fight wasn't stopped.
That's the feelin I got, Shane looks real wide eyed, scared and shook up as though he thought continuing would lead him to be the next ''Apollo Creed''. I mean DAMN really feel for Shane seeing this clip.

He said this years ago mentioning the same 10 Million figure but I thought he was joking, the fact that he's mentioned the same figure in 2011 makes me wonder if he'd actually do it :boxing:
Watching Roy's Last Fight, Well Maybe
I wasn't sure if I should watch this but I cant resist, just hope Roy somehow wins and has the sence to call it a day afterwards, that may be hoping a little too much though
Haye seems to have a short fuse to me. I don't think he is scared of Wlad but maybe likely to attack him if things get tense so that may be why he didn't want to be in the same room. Wlad is just always stoic so he never shows emotion.
I got the feeling Haye has a short fuse too, there were times he looked as though he was trying to stay calm and not lose his cool especially in the last press conference when Wlad appeared to be getting abit cocky. I dont think either of them are scared Im just glad this fight is on again. Been waiting too long for this one.
LMFAO I think Roy just died
In what way would that have been funny? Think before you speak Damn
Roy needs to hang them up for definate this time, when speaking to the interviewer he just said he still might come back. ROY PLEASE HANG THEM UP
I feel this fight is coming a little too late, a rematch a few years back when Manny was lighter would have been a much better fight to watch. That being said Im glad it's happening, Marquez is a shadow over Manny's career and will be until he shut's him up. I see Marquez losing this one but I do think it will still be a competitive fight for aslong as it lasts, I expect Manny to win by TKO. :boxing:
At the time Pascal wasn't recognised as a force or big name, siince losing to Froch he achieved recognition and gained a title at a higher weight. Obviously that goes in favour of Bernard's win(2 Wins IMO) over Pascal and the fact that he's 46 years of age, once again a World Champ and looked that good doing it is phenomenal.
Bro Froch can't even break the top 10 even with his great resume
I do agree with this and think Froch should get ALOT more credit than he does, I mean I cant understand why Ward is in the top ten P4P when his resume isn't as good as Froch's.
If you pay attention to him, Bernard hopkins always breaks down exactly how and why he was able to beat an opponent.
With that said, I agree it does expose certain guys with an agenda as both Hopkins and Manny circumstances are the same, but it seems that Manny is the only one recieving heat about.
TBH neither are on PED's and there rise to greatest has been attributed to their improved skill set.
Precisely neither one should be accused but it happens, Mayweather did it as a negotiating tactic, Pascal because he was a beaten man who couldn't handle B-Hop.
the one that got me the happiest to be honest was against Kelly Pavlik. And reading the story about the kid who Hopkins became friends with, that had cancer? I believe? That made that gave the victory even more meaning to it. The kid kept himself alive just to watch one last Hopkins win, and Hopkins did it The kid went to sleep that night and never woke up again, he died 2-3 days later.
Because of what Hopkins did for that kid, and didn't make public to win the fans over, like let's say Pacquiao does. Becoming that kids best friend, and winning against all odds against the guy who was supposed to finally end Hopkins career and knock him out in to retirement.
I'd say Pavlik just because of that+the age he did it in+Pavlik being undefeated.
Because Hopkins made the popular stare down while almost crying to the press.
"I'm tired of proving myself".
One day, the media will appreciate Hopkins once he's long gone and they will make a movie on him.
Every one of his wins have been mostly discredited by the media, his Trinidad win, Trinidad too small. His Tarver win, Tarver was nothing special. His Pavlik win, Pavlik was a blown up MW. His Pascal win, Pascal is the worst champion ever, Hopkins wouldn't beat Moore or Hagler.
Why not say all of this before the fights? Why say he's gonna get knocked before the fight, then discredit him after he wins?
I agree with all of this Pavlik was his best performance due to what was at stake and the clinic he put on that night ,Also it was a rare occasion to see B-Hop so emotional at the post fight press conference and hear him speak from the heart like that.
It will be interesting to see how Degale comes back from defeat, Grove's beat him fair and square with movement and activity.Degale didn't expect that from Groves and clearly thought he would roll over him.
Just fight Khan already ''I let you escape'' please with statement's like that and ''We will get it on, on my terms'' looks like Bradley thinks he's a much bigger name than he his. Does he think he's Floyd? Seem's like he's caught a little damage from those head clashes
i think bradley is trying to wait out his contact with gary shaw.
He probably is waiting out his contract with Shaw but with statement's like ''I let you escape'' and ''We will get it on, on my terms'' He make's himself look bad. It comes across like he believe's he is a huge star already.
No B-Hop's got this one in the bag,I expect this to be Hopkins best peformance in years, Both Pascal and Hopkins will come with more fire this time, Pascal could get careless in going for the knockout, B-Hop will school him all night.
I like Calzaghe and am a fan, while he was active he had the chance to achieve greater things even though he had achieved alot as a fighter before he retired.
Calzaghe
*21 successfull Super Middleweight title defences, the only two fighters in history that have more than Calzaghe are Dariusz Michalczewski with 23 defenses at Light Heavyweight and all time great Heavyweight Joe Louis with 25 defenses
*Undisputed Super Middleweight Champ
*Only Ring Magazine/Linear Super-Middleweight Champ since the Division started
*Ring Magazine/Linear Light Heavyweight Champ at the the same time as holding the Super Middleweight Titles
*Retiring undefeated and untied, the first fight to do this since Rocky Marciano
That's where it end's for Calzaghe though and that's my point.
Bernard Hopkins
*20 Successfull Middleweight Title defences, Tied With Larry Holmes 20 Heavyweight title Defences, the only three fighters in history that have more than Hopkins are Joe Calzaghe with 21 Defences at Super Middleweight,Dariusz Michalczewski with 23 defenses at Light Heavyweight and all time great Heavyweight Joe Louis with 25 defenses
*Fist fighter to retain the Undisputed Title whilst holding all four major belts WBC/WBA/WBO/IBF & Ring Magzaine
*Oldest Middleweight Champ
*2 x Ring Magzaine/Linear Light Heavyweight Champ
*Oldest fighter in the sports history to win a major title at the age of 46 winning the WBC Light Heavyweight title surpassing the previous record held by George Foreman winning the WBA & IBF Heavyweight titles at age 45
B-Hop is a phenomenon and his career isn't over yet,he has already achieved alot and still continues to amaze, his resume and achievement's just keep getting better and there could be so much more to come as his career continues, right now it wouldn't surprise me if B-Hop becomes a champion again at 50.
In my opinion it's ego's,the fight always starts at the negotiating table and Manny did right not to bend to Floyd's demands for extra testing. Depending on how you see things Manny's stipulation of Floyd having to pay $10 Million for every pound over 147 gave Manny the phsychological edge only to have the playing field leveled by Floyd Jr making the fight with Shane with is very likely to have the most box office success.
Right now it seems to stand at Manny 1-1 Floyd :boxing:
He said at middleweight...
So that doesn't include Tarver, Wright, Pavlik
Even if it did you can give B-Hop the Tarver win but can anyone truly say that Wright and Pavlik had any place fighting at Light-Heavyweight?
Cmon I like Calzaghe but no one has ever been faster than Jones Jr at the weights he's fought at,The man was unbelievable, the way he he could hit an opponent from such a distance away with lighting speed, comined with fast reflexes wihich made Roy so hard to hit in his prime.......Jones Jr was faster it's not even close.
Cmon I like Calzaghe and Jones Jr.
But during his Prime no one has ever been faster than Jones Jr at the weights he's fought at,The man was unbelievable, the way he he could hit an opponent from such a distance away with lighting speed, comined with fast reflexes wihich made Roy so hard to hit in his prime.......Jones Jr was faster and it's not even close.
ya because mab didnt have a an extensive amateur career including the olympics ... ur clutching at straws! if u wanna go that route lets talk about where both of them were at when they were the same age.
That would be a pretty dumb thing to do, Barrera,Pacquiao,Diaz's and Khan's careers a 21 cant be compared.
Khan started his career when he was legally an adult back in 2005!
Barrera started his when he wasn't an at the age of 15 back in 1989
Pacquiao started his professional boxing career at the age of 16 in 1995
Juan Díaz made his professional boxing debut at age 16 in 2000
All three of them had somewhat of a head start as far as resume is concerned.
