Amir Khan gets a lot of hate for having a padded record, but his resume is better than a lot other boxers at a similar stage of their careers. The guy is stepping up his opposition and isn't afraid to fight anybody.
Hopes he develops his chin as well.
there is still hope for khan because he's very young. when he hit 25 his chin will be at it's best although he will always have to be careful.
ya because mab didnt have a an extensive amateur career including the olympics ... ur clutching at straws! if u wanna go that route lets talk about where both of them were at when they were the same age.
That would be a pretty dumb thing to do, Barrera,Pacquiao,Diaz's and Khan's careers a 21 cant be compared.
Khan started his career when he was legally an adult back in 2005!
Barrera started his when he wasn't an at the age of 15 back in 1989
Pacquiao started his professional boxing career at the age of 16 in 1995
Juan Díaz made his professional boxing debut at age 16 in 2000
All three of them had somewhat of a head start as far as resume is concerned.
Pacman at the age of 19 was a lineal world flyweight champ on his 25th fight.
Wow thats brilliant, I didnt really know much about Pacman until he KO barrera in their first fight..so thanks for the info, You learn a new thing about boxing everyday.
Kahn has fought extremely weak opposition and now you want to make it seem as if beating an smaller, cut up, shot Barrera makes his resume better. Kahn resume up to now is shit, his biggest step up was Breidis Prescott and we all know how that went.
co-sign. beating a 35 year old, 20 year pro, whos been cut before the fight, and much smaller. victor ortiz is younger than khan and 10 times the fighter.
Those guys didn't have extensive amatuer backrounds
Compare his resume to Oscar or Mayweather Jr, both guys who came off successful Olympics' as teenager's
Exactly, and both of them had won world titles in under 2 yrs as a pro. Lol at threadstarter comparing Khan to guys that turned pro at 15 or 16 years of age like Pac and Barrera. Khan has stepped up once so far, and got sparked in the first round. An old, shot Barrera, still healing from a headbutt 6 weeks ago, doesn't count for much
What straws are these?
Just making the point that while Khan has fought weak opposition, he is no different to 99% of boxers out there.

I wouldnt know anything about Pacman,Barrera or Marqueaz at 21 TBH but i also wouldnt know a 21 yrs old who had to put up with alot of pressure like Khan Had to due to the media.Pacman at the age of 19 was a lineal world flyweight champ on his 25th fight.

yes straws, u clutching .... trying to compare con's record to legit atg's thats just ridiculuos ... even after 21 fights .... its the end results that really matter ...

Chins cannot be developed, a hater like you should know that.me a hater? LOL I'm just trying to put some perspective in your arguments. I mean his resume after 21 is greater that all these fighters you mentioned so will it make him a hall of famer or an ATG because of that?
