Youre not losing a game of basketball or football where you can go home after and relax you risk being knocked out infront of hundreds of thousands including your friends and family. Training wise you usually isolate yourself from the world and your family for long periods of time which can all go to waste in the blink of a eye or if you were lazy for even one second during a fight. Its a brutal sport excluding the knockout and fighting aspect. As they age famous boxers start feeling the damages and often up dead due to these effects.
Totally agree. Boxing is is an unforgivable sport. One bad night can change your entire career. In team sports even losing a couple of games in a row will not hurt you that bad. In boxing losing a couple of fights can effect future fights.
