Heavyweight Division - Now that Joshua got the belts back and Ruiz proved that his win was just a fluke the chances of us seeing the belts unified is -10%. I doubt we will even get Fury/Wilder 2 as Fury seems to be losing interest in boxing again. Canelo has no interesting opponent at the moment outside of getting Andre Ward to come out of retirement. GGG is too old now and will probably get embarrassed in a 3rd fight. Welterweight is the weakest it's been in years but it's not that bad when you consider we basically just finished a Golden Age in that division. Still the chances of us ever seeing Crawford vs Spence is probably as high as seeing Wilder v Joshua. In other words it's never gonna happen. Lomachenko has the same problem as Canelo he doesn't seem to have any interesting opponent to go up against. Pretty much Inoue and Estrada are the only fighters worth looking into as far as the near future is concerned.

I don't see more people talking about this but this guy clearly can't make middleweight anymore and it's been affecting him for years now. Why does GGG refuse to move up in weight? He doesn't have to worry about Ward anymore, there's no excuse for this guy staying at MW especially as you get older it's harder and harder to lose weight.

So how do you guys see this fight turning out now that GGG has finally been tested by a few fighters. Lets pretend Sergio never tried to cash out or suffered all those injuries: who do you guys have taking it for the middleweight crown?

I think he does. He's without a doubt one of the greatest asian fighters ever. Plus he was absolutely destroying his competition during his reign as champ, also he probably has the best left hook of the last 20 years.

Seeing him get KO'd live in front of his very eyes scared him. That was the guy everyone was saying was as good if not better than Ward and he just got laid out in front him ring side. Ward probably thought to himself if that can happen to him than it'll happen to me too.

I'm not even being ironic or anything. Although I think you could have given round 8 to GGG, but that was a close round. Canelo isn't getting credit for: 1. his body work and 2. dodging/blocking 94% of GGG's punches. 3. His power. GGG felt his power like it or not. Also in the first half of the fight GGG was just following Canelo around the ring throwing out a lazy jab and an occasional power punch every now and then. It wasn't until about round 7 where he started to cut off the ring effectively. People are giving GGG way too much credit for literally just coming forward and missing almost everything he threw. Canelo landed the cleaner more effective punches throughout the night - the best two punches of the night were his right and uppercut on GGG. First of all this is as pointless as Pacquiao-Cotto 2, it’s a washed up Margarito who is still struggling to get his license back in Nevada after being found guilty of loading his gloves before his fight with Shane Mosley. We don’t know for sure how many times he’s been using this plaster in his gloves but it is a huge conspiracy. Margarito hasn’t got his lucky plaster with him now and don’t expect much of a contest there especially at 150 where Antonio will be weight drained and use that as his excuse after the fight.
