yeh just try and pretend that its me claiming 13 years on that vitali won, when its me replying to these clowns making the claim.
go speak to your pals about the 13 years on thing.
Why don't all of you m'fckas actually bring some analysis to the table?
Nothing but retards in both directions......special Olympics in this place every fckin thread.
Lennox won legit by punch that caused an injury forcing the doctor to stop the fight. W for Lennox.
Lennox was getting soundly outboxed and hurt throughout the fight. Evidence for this statement?
Vitaliy landed 50% more POWER SHOTS and a good amount more jabs.
Vitaliy was up on the scorecards.
So,
Lennox won fare and square by stoppage due to a cut, but go fck yourself with any claims that Lennox was out boxing anyone that night.
There is ZERO evidence that Lennox "out boxed" Vitaliy, as the latter landed more of everything and was pressing the action.
So take the Lennox W and STFU before calling the other camp salty because you come across as no better.
Learn to ANALYZE.
Just because he is working with Conte doesn't mean he will be juicing.
Someone like Conte is just an expert on "performance enhancement"
That could mean dbol or the latest and greatest is "legal" sport nutrition.
No.
Lennox ushered in the era of the Superheavyweights.
6'2" I think is the bottom end for a HW these days.
Nothing a 6 foot 73" reach man can do against someone 3-4 inches taller giving up that much in reach too.
People are saying Usyk is too small and he is a legit 6'3".
Size matters, weight divisions mater.
HWs these days are trained to stick and move, rock'em sock'em days are over.
I'm pretty sure Wlad will stay retired because Vitaliy confirmed his "retirement" in an interview few days ago.
If he is coming back, it might just be so he can have a W on his record for his last fight...
Probably to go on a little cycle and rejuvenate his body, seems to make the most sense.
I bet all these fighters who "retire" that is why they do it.
You make millions, you go to some top doctors and they make you 5 years younger, heal all of your injuries...Why not?
At the very least I'm sure that this is one of the reasons.
PPV prices are nuts.
I understand that some people use the argument that people pitch in and have PPV parties but that's not really the case anymore.
These are not the days of mega stars like Tyson, and the only PPV parties I went to in my time where Manny P fights because I have a lot of Filipino friends and those guys would have their grandmothers up at midnight watching the fight 20 deep in a single room.
I usually have friends over for fight nights, but they don't really watch, people socialize and boxing is just on the TV with myself pinned to the screen and everyone else casually peaking in.
So prices are just too much for me and a friend to split on.....100$ on PPV, 50$ on beer another 40$ on pizza........That's a 200$ stay at home night....fqck that.
20$ is what I'd pay.
200$ I'm taking the wife out on a date not watching the TV at home.
If they want to start piracy they need to find a price point at which people will just dish out the cash for a fight.
Look at the music industry...Why bother finding illegal music sources if you can just get Spotify for 10$ or whatever and have everything.
Look at Netflix and Amazon Prime....I used to pirate everything now I just don't bother.
You know damn well Mall aint got no problem fighting D-chanko.
Everyone got a damn problem with fighting him.
He's a high risk fighter that can make you look bad with no reward.
LOL the level if bigotry and hate in this place is unbelievable.
Ya'll do only watch boxing because you try to live your pitiful life through that of the fighters that you happen to share a flag with...
One thing to be patriotic, all I see here is hate. :bottle:
Why would Charlo fight a guy that just lost next when he is the mando for Canelo's WBC belt? He should fight the winner of Jacobs/Derevchenko not the loser.
Because boxing should be about great fights! Not about money and belts....
Would I like the fight? Sure, but makes no sense for Charlo.
Sergey just needs to keep fighting to become a mandatory for someone, that should be his goal.
As skilled and crafty Andre is, the man is listed as 6'0" which probably means he is actually 5'11" with 71" reach.
It's a bigger size difference than AJ vs Usyk.
Usyk is legit 6'3" with 78" reach, he only gives up 4" reach to AJ and 3 inches in height.
Andre can't hurt Usyk, I think it has been established that Usyk can take shots by his sparring partners and what we have seen in fights. So believe me, he can take Andre's shots.
If they were the same size Andre could win, but Usyk would simply fight him at a distance and not let Andre do his thing...
And if Andre tried to fight on the inside Usyk would just do Wlad on him and lean on his back all day.
It's just not a good fight.
Proves nothing for Usyk, and does absolutely nothing for Andre.
Andre's talk of heavyweight is absolutely ridiculous as well.
sure he outboxed him by letting him systematically tear his face off. Lennox was "inferior" to vitali by ripping vitalis eye half out.
great outboxing.
vitali went blitzkrieg and in doing so failed to defend himself.
I was actually going to write a real reply, but having seen your subsequent replies you got some kind of weird hard-on for Vitaliy so I'll just leave it at that...
Its ok buddy, life will work itself out, don't late the hate consume you. :beerchug:
It was caused by Vitali being inferior boxer back then same as it always will be, because thats what vitali was. same deal whenever vitali stepped too far above fringe contender level opponents.
LOL what?
Vitaliy outboxed Lennox in that fight, what does that make Lennox then?
I'm coming of the opinion that EVERY fighter should get robbed at some point in their career just so that the stupid fanboys can STFU about 0s on records and about guys being exposed.
I do wonder if there is a place on the planet where racial **** is more prevalent than the USA? I mean its far from being the only country in the world with racially diverse population...
So what about that fight eh?
Seems a bit lighter.
Josh looked too heavy at 255.
Pretty sure 240 would be good compromise for him.
Agreed. VS Wlad it made sense for him to come in nice and heavy but with all that is left of the HW division at 240 he would still be massive compared to the rest of the TOP10 and his gas tank would improve a fair bit.
That tStreet guy is OK but his videos run of forever...But at least it appears you get an objective view.
The rest just push agendas hard and only pretend to be objective.
These guys are not journalists...all they are good for is when they get an interview otherwise it's not an opinion and often you can make out their agenda within 2min of listening to them.
In my opinion the winner will be fairly #3 P4P, but in terms of resume if look at the other arguable #1 and #2 you could make the argument for #1, but if we are talking about skills then #3.
Usyk flat out doesn’t have the firepower to keep Wilder off him Wilder puts his lights out in less than four rounds.
Sure he does, Usyk has fought guys with sturdier chins than Wilder's.
Besides, Usyk has VERY fast hands, at heavyweight with extra weight his power will not suffer, it will probably carry over which is enough to keep guys honest at heavy.
You MFers damn lost your damn minds with this Wilder...
The man officially fought his first live body just a few weeks ago, and Ortiz was 55 years old on fight night...off the juice.
The man is skin and bones as it is, he can't drop to 200lb.
And if he does, that power will be gone, because that kind of weight loss on that frame will just sap all of your energy.
But if I was his manager and my job was to make him the most money Wilder would be last, because after Wilder is out of the picture who is there coming up to really challenge him? AJ would have to wait for a few years at least, there is literally no one in the rankings.
After the Parker fight, I would have him fight Povetkin.
1) Povetkin - the Russian would make this fight. In London or Moscow, good money there. The European market knows who Povetkin is, and most importantly Ryabinski would love to wash some money with this fight so the $$$ are there.
2) Miller - good fight for US exposure in New York, maybe no big money but a needed fight to get him some love in USA.
3) Fury - Very risky I would say, but a big money fight in the UK no? At this point we need to take risks and Fury is less of a risk than Wilder because he's fat, and hasn't fought in forever, and might still be doing blow or something.
4) Wilder - in Vegas.
5) Wilder - in London.
6) Wilder - ?
THat there will take care of 3 years of fighting, and who knows in 3 years there might be some new up and comers.
