Froch is a very limited fighter with a hard punch and decent chin.He's got where he is by total dedication as an athelete and sheer determination. With his skill set he's achieved a great deal and should be respected. I think this is a good analysis.

They DO help in performance. They allow you to recover from physical exertion faster (which is a key ingredient in being a good boxer). As mentioned, they don;t help your performance more so than they help you actually make it to the ring. It's in that vein that James Toney was able to fight and beat Ruiz when he did. If anything he is one of the most "bashed" boxers on the scene. umm...if you dont think froch as been "hyped" you must not follow boxing very closely... maybe not in the mainstream american media...but everyone who follows the boxing media has heard more abut froch that he deserved us to hear about him... dudes simply an ok fighter who is slow as molasses..

Maybe worse. im one of the most level-headed boxing fans out there...i live in california, but i couldnt give two shits about any fighters race, nationality, creed, etc... unfortunately, many boxing fans do...especially the british, IMO...and british fans always seem to have an agenda, IMO... so, i figured i'd put it to a vote...which british boxers are overhyped, and which are worth talking about on a national stage... personally, i think khan is least worth discussing...other than that, no british fighter excites me, with the other three i can think of as haye, hatton, and froch...

As I've said before it was a brilliant contract. A rematch is standard. And why not give his brother a guaranteed crack at the titles if he lost them. It makes perfect sense. Fight Wlad, if you win you have to... Fight Wlad in rematch, if you win again you have to... Fight VK.... then if you win, you can do what you want.
