I notice that the roidgossipers' rallying cry is the weight gain.
Is he really bigger?
Pictures are not reliable you know.
His fightnight weight over the past few fights would give a better answer to my question.
I recall he has been coming in at pretty much the same weight (unless 3lbs for you is a big difference)
Pac hasn't gained a lot of weight, its the divisions he is fighting in that got higher
Thanks. Not sure who you're doing this for but you're trying awfully hard. For your sake, I hope nothing comes of these whispers.
I was just posting pics because of the whole issue of supposed increse in head size and facial hair of Pacquiao. His head has always looked the same and he had a gotee for a long time now.
In terms of muscle size--hey, anything possible I can admit, it's possible for any elite athlete like Pacquiao to be on PEDs, but I tend not to be persuaded until solid proof comes out. So we continue to discuss.
I gotcha. here's my last one:

Thanks, I know what Manny looks like.
Just kidding but, like I said, not everyone discussing it is going by what they see on TV or what Floyd Sr said.

Oscar keeps reiterating that Pacquiao's punches didn't hurt along with other fighters. I'm no fighter but I will have to take their world for it. Also, wasn't Oscar dehydrated--those shots should've hurt even MORE.
I'v no problem disucssing if Pacquiao is on roids but we need to make some solid arguments here, but I guess circumstantial evidence is all we can work with.
Anyway, here are some more pictures.

His power looked pretty thudding against Oscar and Hatton. And that's an Oscar who has one of the best chin's I've seen in boxing. And that swelling on Oscar's face said enough. But that's not really proof of roids, to be honest. I think there is a small group of people on these boards who heard this rumor long before Floyd Sr said anything - and so they aren't basing their opinion on the things you're mentioning.

That to me suggests--it's coming from his legs and not his hands as Rashad Holloway said Pacquiao does not have "thudding power" where you can actually feel it. Pacquiao's punches are more of a "what just him me" type of shot.
Okay. I have no problem with speculation but in the end you need proof. The big head, facial hair argument about Pacquiao regarding steroids becomes moot as my uploaded pictures have shown.

I think the idea that Pacquiao is not physically strong is silly but what do I know? I'm not a boxer.
Second, there's no proof, which is why everything discussed here is just circumstantial at best. But there's rarely smoke without fire.

No, i have NO problem whether Pacquiao does steroids--if he does, so be it. My MAJOR problem is people just throwing effing accusations out with no hard proof. That to me is my biggest pet peeve of all. I hate all the steroid allegations that includes PBF. Not unless numb nuts have proof about Floyd doing steroids--they should shut their pie hole.
By the way, Shawn Porter, Rashad Holloway, David Diaz, Steve Quinonez, all said Pacquiao is not physically or atleast not crazy, steroid, strong.
Rashad Holloway: "Not physically strong, but he's very explosive."

I can't believe you don't think Pacquiao is physically strong. And I can't believe you don't think Oscar was hurt by Pacquiao's punches. Not that it matters - even if it wasn't, he certainly was hitting much harder than he was at previous weights.
I don't know. See for me, it doesn't matter either way. But I think you have so much invested in Pac emotionally that it's hard for you to think objectively.

Hey, you can criticize all you want--it's straight from the man himself, Oscar. Pacquiao's punches didn't hurt. His sparring mates dont' consider Pacquiao physically strong but the roids that worked for Hatton didn't work for Oscar? Os is it just because of his good chin?
Go head, imdazed, tell me, is it HGH, anabolic steroids, steroid variant. But, no, you're going to say "research" it, look it up, or give me some anecdote.

Wow. I'm actually stunned at your reasoning here.

See, I have no problem with the idea of muscle needing energy, calories to maintain it; that was never my point. I don't know why you keep repeating that.
Pacquiao has fought at 148lbs in both of his last fights. In both, let's assume he used steroids. In the Delahoya fight, Pacquiao showed no sign of power--no increased muscle tension or contraction that would otherwise be considered power or strength; he just looked bulky, on the other hand, when he fought Hatton he annihilated him. Tell me, do you see the disconnect there?
Wow. I'm actually stunned at your reasoning here.
roids and hghs, are engineered to work in many way, genius.
what dont you understand about muscle mass being muscle mass. it doesnt matter if its lean, or bulky.
they all require alot more food to be maintaiend. you seem to think that eating 6 meals a day, means the mucle is natural. it has nothing to do wtih anything.
more muscle mass, requires alot more food to be maintained. why do you think the power-eater dude, kobayashi started lifting weights and packing on alot of muscle mass to make him a more effective power-eater? have you seen how big that mofo is
b/c Muscles require alot of food. fat doesnt. therefore, packing a bunch of muscle on this body, his body digest the food extremely fast b/c of all the muscle mass he has. thats also the way he keep from getting fat, being in the profession hes in
your logic again, is FAIL.
before he started lifting weights
after

Pacquiao annihilates Hatton at 140 and struggles in futile in trying to put Oscar away--who by the way, had no problems immediately going to his corner after the last round of their fight; he was a sitting duck for the roid muscle Pacquiao was carrying.
In both cases, he used steroids?
By the way, the Kobayashi picks are pointless. If you haven't noticed Pacquiao does moderate lifting unlike Kobayashi.
My other point was Pacquiao has been known to deep to 130s only several weeks into training camp. For his fight with Hatton, there was a strong possibility of losing muscle too fast. If Pacquiao was using roids to get lean muscle he could very well have been losing during training--so it's possible that's somebody might have needed to inject him more with roids to get his muscle back-up which is ludicrous in my opinion.
You want roids?

do you believe manny pacquiao KOed ricky hatton without steroids?? he would have looked more like malignaggi without them. manny pacquiao disguises his use well because he is also getting more skillful.
it looked like it was mannys technique that purely got him that win.. but thats not the case at all. your little closed minds probably think god is doing a miracle for manny. as your mind develops and you are exposed to more things in life you will see that all that glitters is not gold, and where there is smoke there is fire. you will learn how common it is and easy to get away with. and you won't wonder anymore what those roid mongers were talking about
you better listen to me you little bitches. i am a prophet
im channelling this shit from satan himself
LMAO!!!
So you saying that by roiding up, you will develop quicker reflexes to throw a perfectly timed right hook while avoiding an incoming punch? Roids are for skill enhancement too? GTFO here...
the extra muscle hanging off is in the guys avatar i pointed out earlier in the thread. its a pic of pac on the left and cotto on the right. when you close your eyes and think of pac is this what you see?
LMAO!!!
Cotto's arms are raised, so his titties will be stretched, while Pacman's about to throw a punch, hence his chest muscles are more defined.
... and btw, you can grow your 'tache longer too by not clipping it.

You deserve it because you're full of kaka...
I been saying this for a while now. You don't move up from a lower weight like he did with that cut body without having extra help.
I think boxing should look in to this.
... and the roids only works for Manny but not for the other boxers? GTFO here...
