I can only speak about my experience, and i dont recall the people i know mentioning Haye once when he was going to fight Wlad.
well alot of people were talking about it round here, not knowing the ins and outs of it,but excited that we might have a heavyweight champion
froch just isn't likeable.
most of his career he has come across as bitter and jealous.
do they like haye in the uk? he talks alot of trash and doesn't back it up
everyone was talking about haye-wlad when the fight was signed before he fought valuev
haye is the biggest thing over here right now,he cant be compared too hatton yet,but it wont be long

Before he fought Valuev?
I dont think so.
He mad a little noise when he was making fun of the Klitchko's but he isnt 'big'.
Hatton was probably the biggest thing since Naseem. And compared to Hatton, Haye isnt big. IMO.

You're off your nut.
Haye - Wlad would have done the same, or very close to it.
I dont believe so because every non-boxing fan i heard speak about Haye was talking mainly about GOLIATH!
I think his freaky size got many people interested who wouldnt have given a shit if he was fighting a slightly bigger Russian theyve never heard of.
Why would the public be interested in Froch? They werent very interested in Calzaghe.
Haye moved up to heavyweight, and faced a giant. People who dont ever watch boxing were talking about Valuev.
Valuev was the real draw, not Haye.
If Haye fought Wlad it wouldnt have been nearly as popular.

are you serious?
if your from UK,you should know how big haye is

........can't even get his fights shown on TV in the UK!
What's Froch doing wrong?
Froch is losing fights, that's what he's doing wrong. Everyone, even his wife, was amazed at the gift decision vs Dirrell. Passionate boxing fans (the ones who actually pay for shit) prefer clean sports and are not very keen in getting on the Froch wagon because of that.

he has a few problems
1. he isnt very marketable,he isnt a likeable guy, just seems like a bitter and jealous person
2. he has pretty poor boxing skills, but genuinely believes he is the best (even though he knows he got outboxed by a green prospect)
3. haye > froch
looking back their was no way he was going too beat mayweather
floyd is so skilled and with the ref on his side, ricky was fukked
well i think hatton could have beaten mayweather, you could see that floyd was pot shotting and then holding, and the ref gave the warning to hatton! lol, even the yank commentators were saying its floyd doing the holding. i think hatton never got the opportunity to even try and beat him because cortez was breaking them up the millisecond hatton got on the inside. you could also tell that hattons speed and movement was causing floyd problems and he nearly dropped him in the first because he got him off balance.
how has he not?
He unified the Crusierweight division in less than 20 fights.
Plus Hatton's moment was against Tsyzu
because of the caliber of opposition he has faced. all the cruiserweights except haye are complete shite. he has the potential to go and unify the heavyweight division, when hes done that, he will have reached his potential.
hattons best moment was against tszyu, but that wasnt his career defining fight. people will remember that he showed balls to step up in weight and challenge the best, but ultimatly came up short.
id say no. yes it was his best win, but not career defining as people will remember that when he stepped it up against some1 at their peak and the best(mayweather), he came up short. all be it that hatton was fighting two men that night. and all 3 judges from nevada. lol.
looking back their was no way he was going too beat mayweather

maybe he hasnt reached his full potential yet
but he is alot closer too it in 24 fights than most guys are in 34,so he must be doing something right
i agree with this
hattons career defining fight was tsyzu wasnt it? that was by far his biggest win

well you get my point. im a haye fan aswell by the way, but he's in a sense the same as hatton, hattons career defining fight was mayweather, haye hasnt had his career defining fight yet. when he fights a klitdick then that will define his career and propel him to the elite level should he win.

i am well aware of what he has achieved thanks! all i said was he has a bit of potential! maybe i should re-phraze it to he hasnt reached his potential yet.
