GGG should absolutely consider moving up, not just for a potential Ward fight, but just so we can see him in a competitive fight because he's not getting one at MW.

I think Pacquiao has aged too much in the last couple years. Speed is down, power is down, and stamina is way low. If he does get the fight maybe he does put everything he has and we see the old manny but im just going based on what I've seen recently. Khan is in his prime, lightning quick hands, much bigger than Floyd, and can box well. I firmly believe he gives Mayweather more of a fight than Pacquiao. Just my two cents

Maidana fought as well as he could have and still lost. Nothing he can do better in the second fight except wear the type of gloves he wants but even then he wouldnt be able to hurt Mayweather. It was a good match in that it was close that you dont see at all with Floyd but I didnt think it was a very good fight. Pretty ugly and way too much clinching. I prefer Floyd's typical boxing lessons because thats the type of boxing I prefer. Then there's the possibility that Mayweather did infact fight with more reckless abandonment to set up a rematch because there is really nobody else to fight in September.

With Bradley signed an extension to get the Pacquiao fight and knowing that Pacquiao won't leave Arum either. Unless Mayweather and Arum both make a 180 in the next two years those two fights will likely never happen. Damn shame, regardless of who you belief is to blame.

I thought Bradley would be a shoe-in for the fight. Outside of a Marquez fight it should do better PPV buys than Provodnikov, so Im wondering why is Provodnikov the frontrunner and not Bradley? Some explanations: 1. Arum is trying to pressure Bradley to lower his demands by threatening to let Prov fight Pacquiao instead. 2. Arum wasn't satisfied with the Rios fight because Rios was doing nothing and it didnt let Pacquiao look as good as he wanted. 3. He believes Provodnikov can beat Pacquiao and he wants to cash out on Pacquiao and build Provodnikov as his next star. 4. Arum wants Bradley to resign with Top Rank in order to get the fight but Bradley is reluctant.

Thoughts on Thurman's performance? Pros: I thought he showed great movement, he was getting caught but was able to slip some punches. He took the punches well and his a good chin. Power is legit. Cons: Needs to keep a tighter guard, cant be throwing uppercuts from that distance, and needs to work the body more. Overall impressive performance. He's got plenty of room for improvement but is already fighting at a high level. I think it would benefit his career if he takes on an another interim fight before challenging for a belt.
