Cant say it’s a safe bet in fights like these but I’d say Woodley should win the question is if it goes to decision does he get a fair shake ? We’re about to find out . I got Woodley decision.
I just can’t see a guy who’s never been hit before will last 10 rounds of damage from a former UFC champ that is known for power, that’s what made me more confident to make a 1k bet. Jakes either going to land and knock out Woodley or Woodley can win by knockout or Jake quitting on the stool out of exhaustion, I really couldn’t see it going into the judges hands but we will see! I hope I win my bet lol
Let's be honest here; Jake Paul didn't win; Woodley lost. All Woodley had to do is up the tempo, throw more punches and get his head off the line when he does so. Plus Woodley had a knockdown, which wasn't called.
Woodley NEVER lets his hands go when he was in the UFC until his very last fight there. I was hoping Tyron realized his shit was getting stale but nope, still same ol’Woodley with them hands he be saving for dudes disrespecting his momma.
I had to learn it the hard way too. The only time I bet is when it's boxers who are under the radar.
This is not sarcastic at all, but thank you for the advice, I’m definitely going to keep that in mind for the future. Will definitely factor those in more heavily the next time I bet on boxing.
I should of listened to most of the UFC fighters who said Woodley was going to lose.
Woodley has always been known for his gun-shy hands, I figured in a sport where you can only use your hands he wouldn’t still wait all round to find his “perfect” shot.
After watching Woodley box, I’m convinced MMA fighters will never be able to box on the same level as a person that trains exclusively boxing. Silva beat Chavez (which is the money I won to bet on this) but even Silva was have issues with reverting back to old MMA habits. Woodley couldn’t stop stalling in his grapples (MMA habit), and also was boxing with MMA-style high guard which is more similar to a Muay Thai fighter then a boxing guard. Woodley never really ever put much weight down on his leading leg too, to generate power because that’s what you’re taught for MMA so you don’t eat calf kicks. Either way I’m really disappointed as a fan because this was one of my favourite fighters last chance at something else and he botched it by living up to his reputation of not letting his hands go.
I think it's always a mistake to bet against the guy who fills the seats and has corporate backing. That always seems to be a bad mistake. (think, Rolly, Canelo, Floyd, Chavez Sr. etc. etc.)
Looks like I’m learning the hard way tonight with a 1k lesson.
:dunce: it must be really frustrating for you to make heads or tails of what I say given it's up to the average intelligence demographic to understand the mentally challenged and you ain't even average is ya son? :dunce:
If I'm too stupid for you to understand then you must be pretty damn dumb yourself, dumbass.
:nana:
This is ironic as hell
Or Porter is tiny. I'm 6'2 and I don't feel very tall these days. (Benevidez listed as 6'1 and half haha)
Haha okay well that's just stupid then
Welterweights are all relatively small guys IRL. 50 Cent dwarfs Floyd in their pictures together and 50 ain’t exactly the biggest dude.
Why do you watch boxing when you think so much of it is fake, fixed and arranged in advance???? I know pro wrestling is fake so I don't watch it. WPro boxing is real so I watch it and enjoy it. It is so easy for you to say whenever a boxer you dislike such as Spence wins a good fight to say the fight was fixed and he could not possibly lose.:bottle::bottle::bottle:
Miguel Cotto would destroy Danny Garcia.
Floyd is NOT losing this fight, that’s why he picked it.
Logan Paul only looks the part, he couldn’t even knock out a fellow YouTuber in 2 fights.
Paul is going to eat a couple of jabs from a real boxer and take a knee.
Wilder fans are even dumber and more delusional then Wilder.
I was a Wilder fan and rooting for him, even wanted to see the trilogy until he started opening his mouth. My god how stupid can you be to think all the things he’s saying will be positive for him.
Wilder being a “family man” is as true as he is humble.
He gets praised for both but I don’t didn’t see it before the fight, and definitely don’t see it now.
Fury drug his own self through the mud...he cheated before soooo?
Certain people love to dispute certain people but not the evidence...
If the peculiar situation has a logical explanation than dispute with logic...
Doesn't make sense to dispute people whom are presenting evidence....
Fanactic: excessive single-minded zeal...so this defines what's going on...you cannot have an honest debate with an closed mind....
How can you care about boxing not be racist & accept this as a victory?
Is that you Deontay?
Or Jay Deas?
I’m not a fan of either fighter, but seeing the full-****** Wilder fans have gone on after the fight has made me a Fury fan.
If Wilder won, it would of been “black power!” but since Wilder lost its somehow racist. What ever you’re smoking, please send some my way.
Those are great coats. The warmest coats in the world. They are heavy though.
1. This is basically an onion article.
2. They ain’t that heavy, in fact they’re not heavy at all compared to the similar winter jacket made by another company.
I’ve been watching a ton of older fights because I’m a relatively new boxing fan, and I have to say Ward is one of the least enjoyable fighters to watch. That and retiring at 32 after speed-bagging Kovalevs nuts didn’t leave me much of a fan of him.
pisses me off.
they could have fought this year.
this "marinating" and promoter BS has to stop.
Now its never happening and spence will never be the same, even if he can fight again.
Spence himself didn’t sound like he wanted the fight Crawford anytime soon.
I was still ****ing up at 30.
I didn't settle down until my 1st son was born. It took seeing and caring for that little guy to make me see life wasn't about me.
Hopefully Spence comes out this with with a different view on life.
I get what you’re saying, but Spence already has 2 kids. Leaving behind a lot of money for them should something happen is better than nothing, but all the money in the world can’t replace a father.
Manny Robles is not a good trainer... He lost both Magdaleno brothers and Valdez, and after Andy's fluke win he was beating his chest and acting like he ****ing owned the place.
I agree that Manny is a mediocre trainer but there wasn’t anything he can do to make Ruiz come into camp 2 months later than he wanted.
Ruiz was noticeably flabbier in the mid section this fight. He wasn’t no agile beast the first fight but this Ruiz was plodding around like he had cinder blocks around his ankle.
This has to be a troll, like how Andy Ruiz apparently slimmed down for Joshua rematch.
I love Fury, but he’s pillow-fisted as they come. He’s not knocking out any professional heavyweight boxer within 2 rounds.
Gary russell. Very talented fighter but style was tailormade for loma and hes much better than he looked in that fight. But rather than do what most fighters do after they've lost their 0 and look for redemption against other fighters, hes just fighting complete bums. He could probably take over that weight class if he wanted to.
This whole undefeated-to-be-great bs in boxing has ruined the sport. I don’t care if you’re 50-0 against bums, fight fans just want to see good fights.
Boxing needs to learn a thing or 2 from UFC. Only the truly great will ever go undefeated as there’s no ducking in the UFC.
Shields is the face of women’s boxing.
People hate loud and brash professionals that can back it up, she has any many haters willing to tune in to watch as fans. She’s definitely using the Mayweather blueprint for her career.
I doubt she’ll fight Braekhaus even at 38, and pretend to start barking at Cecilia when she hits 40.
Bro he abducted his ex gfs 15 year old kid and tried to kill them both by crashing into a cement pillar just after the tua fight ....the prostitute was his second kidnapping charge .
I like how this was conveniently not mentioned by OP.
