HOLY **** L M F A O
Biggest disgrace in boxing history.
1. not entertaining
2. all of his skills are illegal tactics (headbutts, clinching, roman greco wrestling, double legs, head butts, nut shots)
3. boring as fuk. all his fights are literally 2 dudes hugging it out. you have got to be a **** to like his fights.
4. 0 wow factor. no athleticism. no power. just a lot of fouling.
i scratch my head at how this dude even carved out a career for himself in pro sports. and now he critiques people who actually fight within the rules of boxing. This dude is the biggest con job in boxing history. Period.
I'm just glad he ripped Jay Z off. PUAHAHAHAHAHA holy fuk. that's poetic justice.
No, the bold at the end is an opinion my friend. And I think that stuff in bold you said regarding Kessler isn't even true...do you have a source for that? Seems pretty obvious that the Super 6 was set up to have Ward win...no other reason to have any fights in Oakland if he was the lowest rated contender...yet he had 3 of his 4 fights in Oakland lol...I mean who cares but come on man, just be real.
Kessler was on the record saying he wanted a rematch with Ward but wanted at his place or neutral this time...seems fair to me...also would kind of counter your point that he faced Ward in Oakland due to arrogance...I think he just had no choice.

what a fkn crybaby idiot :lol1:
sooooo obvious you have only been following boxing for 5 minutes
FACT: Kessler was the favorite... Ward was a dark horse... and you are a dickhead casual-fan
Why do you take it so personally though lol
...and dude what would you know about how good of a boxer someone is...you don't even score fights lol...just fall back man...there is no coming back from that one :)
very few 30+ year veterans sit down with a pen and paper kid
I know how a fight unfolds... I have instincts about this game that you do not know exist
breadman just admitted that he rarely scores fights
YOU... deciding that scoring a fight is absolute criteria for being a boxing fan... is just as horribly stupid as the other dumb shlt you post
dude, do you really think you are coming back from this...

I'll also tell you how I score them...generally give a 'full point' for a good hard clean shot...and a 'half point' for a punch that is a scoring blow but isn't necessarily super hard or clean.

Only 2 come to mind but his fight with Kenny Kost doesn't exist anymore and his amateur fight with Haydarov seems to have been taken down as well.
Edit: actually the Kost one has been uploaded as of almost 2 weeks ago. Didn't know it go put back up. So scratch that one.
OK got ya, yeah I'll have to look for some of his am. footage sometime and give it a watch
From Miranda to Kov 2...Ward had 14 fights...those were about his only 'real' fights in his career.
8 of 14 of those fights were in his literal hometown of Oakland...a few of those 8 at least were either controversial or close fights that one could argue went Ward's way for the W because they were in his backyard....that doesn't even get into the advantage you naturally have fighting at home for the other fights that did go his way legitimately.
3 of those 14 fights were also in California.
3 of those 14 fights were PPV type fights against a great foreign fighter...all were fought in the US...he easily could have lost 2 of those 3 in a neutral venue...and even though he beat Froch 7-5 on my card, again fighting in your own country has to give you some edge there too.
So over half of his 14 big fights were in his literal backyard of Oakland.
About 80% of his 14 big fights were in his home state of California.
The other 3 were against foreign fighters, in the US, and one was probably a 7-5 win...and the other 2 were very controversial, where he clearly lost 1 but got the nod at home, and the other had some issues with whether or not Ward was able to get away with more than he should have, with the low blows.
What exactly am I supposed to get overly excited about...how am I supposed to overlook all of those things when evaluating Ward...why do some overlook all of that stuff for Ward, but they would never do that for a different fighter.
If PacMan (or insert fighter's name here) was fighting all of his fights in (or insert fighter's hometown here) Kibawe Phillipines and winning in controversial fashion, people would give him sh.it for it, and rightfully so...what is different here with Ward.
What did you notice? I had trouble finding good footage of fight 1 with Kov for a while...and then I swear something was edited out of his post fight interview with Max last time I watched it as well

you just admitted that you are a fkn dumbass who knows nothing about this sport
even dopey casuals know how good Ward was... how ignorant can you get
you just shot yourself in the foot, like all that other junk you post
Why do you take it so personally though lol

Nobody ever considered 168 stacked. It was considered a trash division. Ward wins a tourney and suddenly it’s stacked, lmao.
lol...ward was an unbeaten olympic gold medalist and yet was the biggest betting underdog before the tourney started.....
Kind of off topic but still on the topic of Ward, I've noticed there used to be footage of certain Ward fights that somehow don't exist anymore. Curious as to why that is.
What did you notice? I had trouble finding good footage of fight 1 with Kov for a while...and then I swear something was edited out of his post fight interview with Max last time I watched it as well
Yes, let's clarify your point.
You are claiming that a fighter who didn't lose a fight from age 12 up until he retired in his professional career and won a gold medal in the Olympics, while unifying two stacked divisions in his professional career in the process, did it all with no true boxing skills.
Why would the Super 6 tournament even exist at SMW unless the division was loaded? It was created to name the king of the heavily stacked division at the time.
He then moved up to Light Heavyweight dethroned the boogeyman of that division beating him back to back and taking all three of his belts, securing a knockout in the process.
He then proceeded to retire as the #1 p4p fighter in the world, and stood #2 only to Floyd Mayweather for years leading up to Mayweather's retirement. He had arguably the best resume in boxing when Mayweather retired...how did he not prove himself against top opposition?
It stands to be about as ******ed of a point as I've ever seen on NSB. You lack brain cells.
Nobody ever considered 168 stacked. It was considered a trash division. Ward wins a tourney and suddenly it’s stacked, lmao.
Andre Ward was actually the underdog/B-Side going into the Super Six, especially in the Kessler fight.
Kessler offered to fight Ward in his backyard in Oakland, because he was so confident and egocentric going into the fight that he thought there was no way anyone in the world including Andre Ward would beat him. Kessler, Abraham, and Taylor were the main guys/favorites to win it all.
After Ward beat Kessler (#1 ranked figher, top seed) and took his title, he then earned the right to be the A-Side. He was then able to steer negotiations for later fights in his favor because of this. It isn't Ward's fault Kessler's ego and ****iness put him that position.
These are facts, nothing I am saying is an opinion. He beat all the top guys fair and square in both amateurs and pro's.

Yeah, I saw him say he would bet anyone that this was going to turn into a Golovkin thread and then sat and watched him
slowly turn it into that. Not healthy.
Right...glad you caught that too bro
Sorry if I hurt your feelings man...was not intended...I just never saw great boxing skills from Ward at the top level, and have mentioned many times the particulars of that.
I mentioned in posts prior that I feel he probably got some help in close fights in the ams for various reasons...and I mean it's not like he was a total scrub...you put him in there with anyone like Paul Smith or Alex Brand and he will win clean...so in the ams he probably only had a very small number of real fights...that is the same story for anyone in the ams...for the good fighters, 9/10 of their fights are no contests.
But yeah with his affiliation with Hunter, his feel-good story about a boy-done-good after what happened to his folks...and the fact that he was no scrub, and you put all that together, and that he was likely able to get away with some roughhouse tactics in the ams if needed...and I would say likely got very favorable cards in the ams too, for those reasons.
If you or anyone else has any actual footage of Ward schooling someone in the ams in big fights, I am more than willing to view it and give him props for his amateur career...but it wouldn't change my mind at all about what I saw from him as a pro, nor should it.
Regarding the Super 6...I wouldn't really say it was stacked...and as mentioned, I feel it was pretty clearly set up for Ward to win and coronate him in a way...why else would a relative no-name, 10th ranked (I think) have all of his fights at home, some in his actual backyard.
Pretty clearly it was set up for Ward to win, and the hope was that he would be Floyd 2.0 and make everyone rich like Floyd did...but never really panned out for Ward, for whatever reason...hard to say it was really stacked when a consensus top 3/5 guy in Bute wasn't even invited to the tournament...seems like perhaps that the tournament was designed a certain way really.
The names to start the super 6 looked pretty solid...but when you look at who Ward actually faced, it is hardly that impressive...he beat Kessler in controversial fashion, in Oakland, when Kessler was number 1 at 168, and Ward far below that...he then beat the great Allan Green by UD in Oakland.
He then went 12 very hard/close rounds with Sakio Bika, in Oakland...and then beat Froch 7-5 in the US to win it...not terrible results but also all the fights at home, and the Bika fight was very competitive and Kessler quite controversial...Froch was a clean win but a close win...Allan Green, come on man.
If you really like Ward that's cool man...reading your post about him is a bit comical though...I mean everyone knows Kov won the first fight, and the 2nd was very controversial as well...if someone wanted to swear Ward was 1-1 in those fights, that's fine, you could make an argument to that affect...but for a supposed real neutral boxing head to really come on here and say he 'dethroned' Kov and beat him twice...I mean who are you trying to fool man...we all saw those fights lol.
A lot of your comments you make there are opinions man, and you seem to be really emotional about them, swearing they are facts lol...it is arguable that Ward was a top pfp fighter when he retired...I didn't see it that way, I think he got a lot of help and by fighting at home he won fights he otherwise would have lost or drew....he was a good tough smart fighter/boxer, but he wasn't a great boxer, not in my eyes, and many others seem to agree.
If you want to swear he was great, that's cool man, do you...but when you clearly inflate his standing (saying that opinions you have are factual), and then also get pretty clearly emotionally invested (calling someone names just because they view a fighter's career differently than you), well it makes you seem a bit biased and agenda-driven my friend.
If Ward was from somewhere like Venezuela and fought the same style and the same fights he fought...I think he wouldn't have been as successful, probably in the ams, and definitely in the pros...the dude never traveled, most of his top wins are really quite controversial, and he would 11-1 cards in 6-6 7-5 fights...just not that impressive to me man...but I don't have a bias or agenda for any fighter, just call it like I see it...maybe that's where we differ ;)Andre Ward was actually the underdog/B-Side going into the Super Six, especially in the Kessler fight.
Kessler offered to fight Ward in his backyard in Oakland, because he was so confident and egocentric going into the fight that he thought there was no way anyone in the world including Andre Ward would beat him. Kessler, Abraham, and Taylor were the main guys/favorites to win it all.

Also you don't even score fights lol...just fall back on opinions regarding fights and fighters, obviously your opinion is rather irrelevant, as to have an opinion on 80% of fights, you have to score them....just fall back.
