That is why Bob Arum only pays Manny Pacquaio $5.6 million to fight has beens and class b fighters. Arum keeps the other $24 million the fight generates for himself.
As far as Floyd goes, he pays himself $30 million plus to fight these guys, not Golden Boy Promotions. GBP simply serves as the promoter of record and gets paid a fee for doing so. All the profits from the fight, minus the expenses such as undercard fighter purses, go to Mayweather.

If anything, Guerrero sounded like a punk when he said Broner would need to move up to 147 lbs to fight him, I mean it would have meant Broner jumping 3 weight classes at the time to fight Guerrero....not going to happen. That was all talk on both sides, that fight had 0% chance of happening and they both knew it.
