Linares can say what he wants, his face when he went down was that of a man who had mentally given up.
To say the judges had 1 even and 1 ahead is the very reason why he should not even consider a rematch. He was in control of that fight and those cards were rigged. He can move on to bigger things already, unify, pac then Garcia or Tank if he ever grows a pair.
According to a poster who lives in England. They pay a large amount of money for their monthly/yearly subscription to Sky Sports.
Alot more than what we pay for our cable and HBO, Showtime and stuff.
I'm guessing that's why the PPV's might be 19.95 pounds because they already pay a large amount for their Sky subscription. I think it's somewhere in the realm of 440 pounds a year for just Sky Sports alone.

I have Canelo winning a close decision because he is young and has only improved with every fight. The kid deserves nothing but respect. Granted GGG is a hell of a fighter but I do believe that Canelo will be able to take and replay back his power-punches.
Nothing to do with that counter-punch. Chavez Jr was nothing but a punching back and an embarrassment. GGG would have actually KOed Chavez Jr that evening if we are going to be comparing them.
"I am just finishing the last part of my career by doing what is in the best interest for me and my family," Cotto said. "We had the opportunity to work with and have nice relationships with Top Rank and Golden Boy and now we have an agreement with Roc Nation. That was the best option for us. Just like any other businessman, I am just thinking about the benefits, the money and the opportunity in this deal.
"When you talk about Miguel Cotto, it's not only about Miguel Cotto the boxer. Miguel Cotto has a company that Roc Nation is going to bring more interest to. I'm in the last stage of my career. I need to have other things after my career."
Can say whatever you want about him but he has the right plan in his mind. He will fight K9 in Brooklyn and take yet another belt on top of all this.
Cotto gets flack for not being charismatic ala Tito Trinidad but he is not a bad guy. Just a serious person who is reserved with people until he gets to know them. Not everyone is going to be dancing salsa and shaking hands 24/7. Cotto is just that dude...
I understand people having a lot of love for Trinidad, but the dude is broke. I don't hear anything about all this love getting him any money nowadays.
You say that as if its been any different in the past... Just change the name of certain boxers and include others.

Arum already said the fight will happen. But not now. He wants them both to clean the division and then fight in 2011 when there is no one else and make the fight as big as it can be. Juanmas problem is his ego and it will be his downfall. Like its been said, he thinks he's another Tito and the fact is that a lot of people turned their back on him for ducking caballero. Which btw, THAT should be his next fight and not Gamboa. Let them make a big hype and then fight but he needs caballero to redeem himself. Anyways, he is acting like a bitch and an ass and he won't be gaining any fanbase unless he gets caba
135-Edwin Valero
130-humberto Soto
126-Juanma(before anyone says anything, I think Gamboa is a better fighter but still a prospect. Juanma is already a two time, two division champion)
122-Caballero(still needs to figth at 126 so at the time he is a 122)
118-dont know
115-Donaire
112-dont know
108-Calderon
105-dont know
I'd say these at the missing weights:
118-Hozumi Hasegawa
112-Koki Kameda
105-Roman Gonzalez or Oleydong Sithsamerchai
yeah i thought of hasegawa but I've not seen much of him
Hopefully everyone votes..
I say Gamboa beats Lopez..
Why, well, he's got excellent speed and power.. That will be the key.. Lopez was getting hit a lot by Lucero (?). I just see Gamboa using effective aggression to win the fight..
I can Gamboa getting knocked down, but i see lopez getting KO'ed.
he had to in order to get in. LUEVANO had a much longer reach so he could have fought from the outside all night. Another thing is that Luevano doesn't have any pop in him so Juanma wasn't scared of getting hit. Against Gamboa the reach advantage would go for Juanma who happens to be a good counterpuncher so u can't compare how a fight vs gamboa would be looking at how he fought last night
Gamboa, but I would like to see this in another time. I want to see Gamboa get a title first. These two have what it takes to be ATGs so why ruin a career putting them against each other now

Hate to say this but I don't think Shane can beat him at this point in his career. It will be good and competitive but Floyd will stay at bay and look for the UD
Floyd too smart to trade with Shane, stays back, pops the lead right and jab, keeps moving, counter punches, Shane keeps coming hard but Floyd just that bit faster, and too smart to fight Shane's fight. Just what Floyd does.
Floyd UD.
this is how I see this
Mayweather won a close Split vs Oscar and I believe that that same Oscar that Shane fought would've beaten Mayweather. Mosley is not the same anymore and has changed his style.
What I want to see is what will the gameplan be.
I personally think they should match Miguel Cotto up against a lesser opponent. Possibly a tune-up like fight for Yuri Foreman to get a win under his belt and get more confidence.
But the Cotto - Foreman fight itself would be a great match up if they ever do meet in my opinion
Yuri has no power so he will d fine.
