Could he have went from willing to fight him to shook for his 0 after he watched Gamboa make the guy who almost beat him and had him hospitalized his bitch. I always respected Juanmas heart, but he has uttered those three dreadful words, "He's no draw". To make matters worse, he is no draw im damn self and fights in the fukcing wamu theater.
Arum already said the fight will happen. But not now. He wants them both to clean the division and then fight in 2011 when there is no one else and make the fight as big as it can be. Juanmas problem is his ego and it will be his downfall. Like its been said, he thinks he's another Tito and the fact is that a lot of people turned their back on him for ducking caballero. Which btw, THAT should be his next fight and not Gamboa. Let them make a big hype and then fight but he needs caballero to redeem himself. Anyways, he is acting like a bitch and an ass and he won't be gaining any fanbase unless he gets caba
the fight will happen in 2011, when it make focking $$$$$en$$$$e for jml , gamboa and arum so lets just quit the whinning and stupidity and lets enjoy this couple of good fights coming, right now its not worthy moneywise for anybody :boxing:

Its Just hilarious though. that this idiots think they are superior because of Pacquiao. their only fighter.

He's going to be a lot worse than Mayweather. Mayweather didn't pull this type of shit early in his career.
You all know this is the product of the promoters. Bum Arum's fault.

Yes.
The plan was for Juanma to fight Gamboa in the PR parade this year. However when he saw how Gamboa disposed of Mtagwa he said "f#$k that...im not ready lets do it next year".
Im from Puerto Rico but the truth is the truth Juanma has ducked both Caballero and Gamboa....he better grow some balls if he wants my respect.
I'm not sure Lopez is afraid of Gamboa, or anyone else in his division. Juanma's been handled like a potential golden goose for so long that he doesn't see clearly anymore (if he ever did). I think the kid believes his own hype. He sees himself as being a future boxing superstar. From his comments, it would seem he might even think he's already there. Lopez thinks he can speak better than he can, so he tried to be slick and said some silly things.
We'll see Yuri Gamboa and Juanma Lopez fight when Bob Arum thinks he's stirred the sauce long enough. Arum is running the show. At least Gamboa had the sense to say that he'll fight whomever his promoter wants him to fight. Nobody wants to hear that, but that's the way it is. Juanma got into trouble with his comments because everyone knew they were being BSed. It's just insulting.
Juanma will be a big draw soon and BTW his fight with Luevano was sold out.
No it wasint...But ur right about him a draw in the future. But he aint now.
Rafael's remark: In October, Lopez struggled mightily in a junior featherweight title defense against Rogers Mtagwa at Madison Square Garden. Lopez barely hung on to make it to the final bell after being nearly knocked out at the end of the 11th round and getting batted around the ring for the entire 12th round. But that hellish night seems like a long time ago after seeing Lopez's outstanding performance in the main event of HBO's "Boxing After Dark" on Saturday in MSG, with a raucous, near-sellout crowd of 5,142 (mostly Puerto Ricans) almost all rooting for him. Lopez was moving up in weight and challenging the steady Luevano, 28, a fellow southpaw who had made six title defenses and faced some quality opponents. But he just didn't have enough firepower to keep Lopez, 26, off of him. Lopez dominated the fight. His punches were much heavier than Luevano's and they took their toll. Luevano, of La Puente, Calif., had a bloody nose and a swollen left eye. He ate a ton of shots and had only won a single round on one scorecard going into the seventh round. That's when a furious Lopez attack dumped Luevano to the canvas near the ropes. He was very shaky as he got to his feet to beat the count, but his legs were a mess, and referee Benji Esteves wisely called it off.
