FLOYD MAYWEATHER wants to charge boxing fans in the U.K. an extortionate amount of money to watch him box Conor McGregor, according to promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport. Mayweather takes on the reigning UFC lightweight champion in his first outing since coming out retirement earlier this year on August 26. The undefeated American's 50th professional outing takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Click Here To Read More]

I think if they charged more the Brits would pay for it. Only one way to find out. I mean I've seen them fly half way around the world just to watch Rick Hatton get his ass whooped by Floyd. You really think they wouldn't cough up a little more dough for this fight?
There isn't one good argument for them to do that. Are you advocating Floydie should have MORE money in his pocket, to throw away and be broke in 5 years anyway? I'm not even remotely jealous of the rich, but to advocate the rich need even MORE money? On the backs of the middle class? That's ridiculous. That's how we ended up with this b.s. top heavy economy we have now. Fek that b.s.
Yeah but the trade off is that you have to live in Mexico.
It's not really bad man, not bad at all.
Food's great. Women are beautiful. And it's not expensive to either rent or own a house. So you're either ill informed or just plain trolling lol.
Lol ....... the truth hurts doesn't it.....'The Truth' ...Carl ...wasn't he another one of your great heavies!
By the way £19.95 we pay for the mismatch of the century Floyd v conor ( right name there!)...you pay $100 ......as Don said 'only in America'!
I'll be sleeping through this American mismatch and some mugs will be paying $100 omg!
You cant afford $100 than you have issues, so keep waking up early for these fights
Keep talking sh1t and we'll make ur ass wake up earlier

Hey NahMean, isn't the yearly or monthly subscription to Sky Sports a large amount of pounds. How much is the subscription to Sky? Isn't in the realm of 440 pounds in a year?
I remember a poster from England mentioning that the subscription fees are high and that evened out or balanced out the PPV's being 19.95 pounds.
Yea it depends on your subscription.. I have all SkySports HD and movies so my subscription is £50 per month (around 68 dollars) plus the price of PPV which is between £21 to £25 (around 34 dollars)
''Sky Sports Box Office will show the hugely anticipated fight between undefeated former world champion boxer Floyd Mayweather and current UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor.
The event sees the two worlds of professional boxing and UFC colliding at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 26, and will be available to Sky customers on Sky Sports Box Office for £19.95 in the UK and €24.95 for Republic of Ireland.''
Yeah that sounds more REALISTIC!

Went from a Money Grab to flat out being GREEDY! I'm not paying for it but it is many who will so good luck to them! They will make money regardless because the Casual Sports Fans are very Gullible!
According to a poster who lives in England. They pay a large amount of money for their monthly/yearly subscription to Sky Sports.
Alot more than what we pay for our cable and HBO, Showtime and stuff.
I'm guessing that's why the PPV's might be 19.95 pounds because they already pay a large amount for their Sky subscription. I think it's somewhere in the realm of 440 pounds a year for just Sky Sports alone.
Cheapest option: Sky Original Bundle (£22.50) + Sky Sports 1 (£14) = £36.50/month
Cheapest HD option: Sky Family Bundle (£38) + Sky Sports 1 (£14) + HD Pack (£6) = £58/month
Cheapest bundle with all Sky Sports channels: Sky Original Bundle (£22.50) + Sky Sports Pack (£27.50) = £50/month
Cheapest HD bundle with all Sky Sports channels: Sky Family Bundle (£38) + Sky Sports Pack (£27.50) + HD Pack (£6) = £71.50/month
