A couple of points

I hate lists for this reason...they get people lathered up.

First, it does not ever matter what a fighter's intentions were, if they were ducked, or they ducked...The fact will always be reduced to whom they fought. So whether Mosley ducked, or floyd ducked, is not really important. Suprising how many people don't understand this logic, and it has nothing to do with floyd per se.

Larry said it, a few more said it: Floyd was at his best fighting 135 and below, not at welter. These others have their reasons, mine are, floyd was Not big, strong enough...just not his best division.

Floyd is super skilled. He probably is top 10 skilled. Top 3 skilled WW who campaigned at the weight even.
But to say there aren't 10 ww with better campaigns and resume at the weight is a bit of a stretch. Pac s greater. Pac s top 5.
Floyd came and went at the weight like a meteorite.

That's what I found odd, Monte is a respected historian and usually puts out good stuff so where is Armstrong, unless he ranks him at another weight (likely Feather) instead and because of that he excludes him from the Welterweights ?, but then Armstrong's run at Welter was better than his others.
