Yea I'm sure he's seen a lot of fights from Ted 'the kid' Lewis lol...I don't know who the hell that ****s guy is but I guess in today's world as soon as you have "historian" "doctor" etc in front of your name you must be a smart guy who knows his stuff lol. It's normal that old geezers like him will defend and think highly of fighters he's watched when he was younger, ted the kid was fighting before he was fkn born so how the hell would he know about him and his qualities as a boxer, most of his fights from what I've read were normal people who used to fight so they could afford dinner.

Seems real ****in silly, why bother spamming the same **** over and over if he can't debate for himself.
"Ugh this guy brings up a valid point / wants to argue about Floyd's career, can't do that myself but need to post to make it look like I have some kind of impact or am somehow a figure here, let's direct them to Kev's posts without quoting or linking people too them, that way I don't need to have an argument with someone I may lose and I still made myself known. Hopefully they can't be bothered looking for Kev' post either which is why I didn't link or quote him."
Seems kinda ****in silly and not worth ya time, people come on this forum to talk and debate boxing.
Edit: Although I've only just started posting again on this acc, NSB was always a ****hole and these days it seems History Section isn't exactly the same as it was back in the day, is it standard now to post just to try and get someone else to argue for you ?.
Has a ready made excuse for everybody that Floyd fought late, or not at all. Nobody is that squeaky clean and above that, nobody really cares when all is said and done. He seems to feel that Floyd is being treated soo unfairly. Give him a tissueLast edited by djtmal; 11-14-2019, 07:16 AM.

Gayweather cherry picked, ducked and dodged all every good opponent past the Castillo loss. His career is a joke. No way is he an ATG, especially at WW.
Went on that 3 year run past the Castillo loss and fought Sosa through Mitchell
Margarito punked his ass, and fought Baldomir instead
Afraid of Pacquiao
Ducked Paul Williams
Fought a past his prime MosleyLast edited by Death_Adder; 11-14-2019, 11:40 AM.

That's why he isn't a consensus top 5 atg at ww, or overall. It was more important for him to pick who, when and where he fights and all the terms had to be in his favor. Doesn't work that way.

50,000 plus posts and I am the troll. Lmao.
See Kev's posts is Dunnspeak for I can't create more excuses right now.
Even if all your excuses were to stick for Floyd, it still doesn't put him in the top spot on a majority of these experts all time great lists for the same reasons his arm chair critics have for him, and there isn't anything you can do or say that's going to change that.
As for rankings, he is always ahead of Manny in every poll of historians, #1 on ESPN top 25 of the last 25 years, #1 p4p in boxrec, and in the thread created by poster Chrismart, he is #12.
As usual you lie about something involving Floyd. Try the truth sometime.

In fact Pac beat Hatton, Cotto, and De La Hoya way better and more decisively than Gayweather.

According to Monte Cox, who is a noteworthy boxing historian apparently, Floyd doesn't crack the top 10 ww's all-time. Keeping it a buck you guys can't handle that.
It just doesn't sink in to you Floyd Boys that Floyd is the only fighter who they do this for. They don't do it for the Sugars, or Ali, or Pernell, or Holy, Roy, or even Oscar. Only Floyd the critics say the same thing consistently and you dudes are still in denial.MEXGBP likes this.
