Just like I told j0zef. I anticipated this. You GGG fans just see things through your GGG goggles. Whenever you see a Ward, Lara, Canelo or Jacobs thread, you pin your ears back and just go into full attack mode. Next thing you know the threads turn into 100 pages of crap. Every potential rival/threat of GGG gets criticized and degraded. They can do no right and GGG can do no wrong. It's OK for GGG to do this but not OK for them to do that.

It's just a chore dealing with you dudes. You guys even got your panties in a bunch in a positive thread such as this one where the premise is 3 great fighters who are struggling to land the big fights and will have to go out of their comfort zone to make their mark on the sport and reach their full potential.

But no...immedialey "NO..WARD AND RIGO ARE NOT LIKE MY BELOVED GGG. NO WAY POSSIBLE" I mean damn dude. Enough is enough.
My opinions on the fighters you name here are as follows:

Ward ... he may be as good as you say he is, but, honestly, are you really saying that beating Froch and Kesslar at 168 5 years ago makes him the The Man right now?

I'm reserving my judgement till I see what he looks like against Barrera. And I still don't believe he will ever fight Kovalev. I don't think there will be enough money in that fight to tempt him into it.

Whatever, I think the best thing for GGG and for boxing as a whole is for him to stay at 160 and unify those belts. If he did that, believe me, I would to love to see him fight Ward afterwards.

Lara ... he isn't serious about wanting to fight GGG, and he would be crushed if it ever happened. I don't see him as any threat to Golovkin, not in the slightest.

Canelo ... he is refusing to fight a mandatory challenger, in his own division, without a catchweight, something that no world champion has ever done before.

His justification is that he isn't a MW. But, apparently, he still wants to keep hold of the WBC MW title and walk around calling himself the lineal MW champion of the world.

    Fuck that. No way!

Rigo ... never been a fan of his, but he's Frampton's mandatory challenger with the WBA now, and I posted a comment earlier today saying that if Carl drops the WBA belt to avoid fighting Rigo he will shame the tradition of the fighting Irish. And I'm an Irish Brit myself.

Edit: If I was an Irish Mexican, I'd be even more ashamed of Canelo!

I guess GGG is just so good he can't stay in his divison and unify..that's what I don't get, if all you guys think he's a bum then what do you care if he just stays and wins all the titles?

He's obviously waiting on that Canelo fight and payday...I like watching his fights, and of course it's getting sickening watching him fight guys like Monroe and Wade but he has a plan I guess and he's sticking to it..I'm still gonna watch him the same way I watch Crawford fight guys levels below him and still enjoy the fights...
I enjoy all the fights no matter who is fighting. I love the sport.

Never said he was a bum. I a fan of his and want to see him excel not sit around and wait and let his "real fans" cry about many avoiding him. He can move up and come in anywhere from 161-168 to take on a "name" and move back down. And guess what? He wont lose his titles and still have chance to unify and chase that dream if he desires.

34 years old and nothing to show for it in this sport. His next fight he doesnt even know the guy.

No. If GGG unifies the MW division he will write his name in boxing history books and earn himself a ton of money.

If he'd moved up and beaten Ward he would have got massive props from hard core fans, a modest pay cheque, and 5 years from now, outside of the hard core fans, nobody would remember it had even happened.

Sure, thats what it would have been.

But what i find funny is that you say they dont know Ward but in your quote of "what would have been" they dont even know GGG. Hes just the "smaller guy"

You got it. Beating Ward would not have made GGG into a star name outside the hard core fan base.

And according to your little story Ward is much more known than the "smaller guy".
