blake griffin? deandre jordan, gerald green? now just bc they can jump high with athleticism, does that translate to them being the best players in the league? NO. it takes ALOT more than "power" to be a TOP fighter only fringe neophytes judge fights based off of "power" alone. they must dont know the boxing rule? GENERALLY speaking(bc there is always exceptions to every rule) that BOXERS 80-90% of the time beat BRAWLERS almost always.
they set themselves up to be disappointed EVERYTIME thats why i like taking their $$
Absolutely, casual fans dont know shht about boxing.

Regarding Kovalev/Ward, and Golovkin/Ward, the best fighter would win.

I dont know if this has been posted, but a good one.
They are adding useful new English words to GGG's vocabulary

They are hyping it very well.
Can he say " Andre Ward " yet ?

Fans will soon have plenty of time focusing on GGG vs Ward after the Cotto/Canelo fight. Forget about Ward taking on Kovalev. You're only fooling yourselves. Ward vs GGG has to happen in 2016.

Making that statement about Golovkin/Ward is just silly, so I will ignore it, but regarding a potential Kovalev/Ward fight.....

            1) Kovalevs vaunted power will not be a significant factor in that fight

            2) Ward will have more than enough power to keep Kovalev honest, nobody has ever walked through Wards punches, and nobody ever will

You made both of those mistakes when evaluating Mayweather/Pacquiao.

            Dont you learn ?
You are confusing me with somebody else again.

I didn't make any mistakes evaluating Manny/Floyd because I never evaluated it in the first place.

I've never been interested in either Floyd or Manny except when they fought Hatton.

I'm just glad the bore of the century is over and done with and the sport can move on to better, more exciting fights now.

I thought not. Wait till it actually happens before you start crowing about it.

He won't turn it down. That's not the way Ward operates. He just won't take it and carry on fighting cans while blowing smoke about Golovkin till GGG has finished unifying 160 and calls his bluff.

I have a completely different perspective.....

Ward / Golovkin will never happen.

Ward / Kovalev will happen in 12-18 months, as per Duva.

He has beaten the best at 168.

And he has no problem at all fighting Golovkin.

He will fight Kovalev, there is no doubt in my mind.

You need to realise, Ward will not view Kovalev the same way most fans do.

Ward will see what I see.

Ward has had just one good win in his whole over-rated career, against Froch. Kessler he beat with head butts that wouldn't have been allowed anywhere but Oakland, Dawson was weight drained and not that good anyway.

I don't even think he is the best SMW in the world any more and he doesn't have enough power in his punches to hack it at 175. Trust me, he is not going to fight Kovalev.
