Just for the record: My take is that GGG beats Andre Ward and beats him bad. Once Ward has fought GGG, he (Ward) will never again be the same fighter he once was. Ward will be lucky to avoid being knocked out.

I agree with you. I have never believed Ward would survive a fight with GGG or with Kovalev. That is why I have always been of the opinion that only one of those fights can ever happen because there will be no point in the other once Ward has been knocked out.

The ONLY chance Ward would have, is if the fight was held in Oakland and he is able to call all the shots. Then he could hold and clinch and head butt without being penalized for it. But even in that case, all he might achieve is angering Golovkin and that is not an advisable thing to do.

Also, the more time goes by and the more time Ward sits on the sidelines looking in, the more pointless this fight becomes. Even the most rabid Ward-tard must admit that he has to get his ass back in the ring, and soon. Against a valid title contender. If not, just follow Froch's lead and pull the plug.

It would take a combination of skill and power to beat GGG or Kovalev. Ward has the skill, but he doesn't have the power, which is why I'm sure he won't fight either of them.

All the crowing about Ward calling out GGG sounds an awful lot like the Khan pleading for a Mayweather fight. Both Mayweather and GGG don't need this fight,....both khan and Ward are begging, and both for the same reason,...money. They want a big payday first and foremost,..how they actually perform is secondary. That's the way it is when you're o. The outside looking in. Floyd and Gennady know this and could care less to toss the proverbial bone to either of the 'outsiders'.
On a side note, Ward asking for a 50/50 split is totally inappropriate and a sure sign that it's all about the money,...and not the fight. That's my take on the GGG/Ward scenario.

NO. it takes ALOT more than "power" to be a TOP fighter only fringe neophytes judge fights based off of "power" alone. they must dont know the boxing rule?
