Why are you so desperate from him to move up when you supposedly think Golovkin can beat him?
You don't seem too confident.
I'm not desperate for Ward to fight Kovalev. On the contrary, I've said many, many times here that it isn't going to happen, and like everybody else, I prefer being right to being wrong.
A couple of weeks until Golovkin's big PPV debut and all everyone is talking about is him facing Andre Ward.
Does anyone even remember who he's actually fighting?
MSG is sold out already. And the people who bought those tickets will be watching GGG and Lemieux trying to KTFO of each other, not talking about Andre Ward.

All the recent talk in the media has been about Golovkin facing Andre Ward in the future. No one really cares about Lemiuex. It's a glorified mismatch.

Lol. And if Ward was talking about anyone other than GGG, the media wouldn't give a fuck what he had to say. Which is what that bull**** offer to Loeffler was really all about.
GGG/Lemieux has sold out MSG, so obviously, people do care about it. I think it's going to be a great occasion and a very exciting fight, while it lasts. GGG is a big favourite to win, and rightly so, but you can never write off a puncher like Lemieux.
Ward sent Loeffler an offer to commit to fighting GGG sometime next year. So why didn't he do that with Kovalev?
I keep reading about Roc and Duva negotiating on Ward/Kovalev, again, for sometime next year, so why isn't Andre getting in with that, instead of sending bullshit offers to Loeffler?
No , GGG is not , and I'll GARANTEE u that GGG doesn't fight Cotto or Canelo next . as far as Ward/Kov , the plan is sometime late next year and we both know that u don't sign a fight when its a year or more away . If Duva is optimistic , then why should u be so gloomy about the prospects of the fight ? R u a super-duper-insider ? Do u know something Duva doesn't ?
It would take a combination of skill and power to beat GGG or Kovalev. Ward has the skill, but he doesn't have the power, which is why I'm sure he won't fight either of them.
That is just ignorant, I thought you were a boxing guy ?
Making that statement about Golovkin/Ward is just silly, so I will ignore it, but regarding a potential Kovalev/Ward fight.....
1) Kovalevs vaunted power will not be a significant factor in that fight
2) Ward will have more than enough power to keep Kovalev honest, nobody has ever walked through Wards punches, and nobody ever will
You made both of those mistakes when evaluating Mayweather/Pacquiao.
All the crowing about Ward calling out GGG sounds an awful lot like the Khan pleading for a Mayweather fight. Both Mayweather and GGG don't need this fight,....both khan and Ward are begging, and both for the same reason,...money. They want a big payday first and foremost,..how they actually perform is secondary. That's the way it is when you're o. The outside looking in. Floyd and Gennady know this and could care less to toss the proverbial bone to either of the 'outsiders'.
On a side note, Ward asking for a 50/50 split is totally inappropriate and a sure sign that it's all about the money,...and not the fight. That's my take on the GGG/Ward scenario.
There is no reason whatsoever to mention Mayweather and Golovkin in the same sentence, they having nothing in common at all.
