Matthysse's team are a load of ****heads, maybe Abel Sanchez would be a good fit. Roach would be great but Ruslan lef him for Joel Diaz as he didn't give him enough time. Diaz really wanted to train Lucas after he beat up Bradley in sparring as he said Lucas had great potential. Robert Garcia would be great and Joel Diaz could do some stuff.

I honestly doubt Ward or GGG think about each other very often. The only reason we keep getting these quotes from their camps is because reporters keep asking the same questions repeatedly.

I think GGG and Ward have settled on the fact they aren't going to fight. Ward has other things to worry about anyway, like being more active..........

So much interference in Able Liar's words and in your post it's ridiculous . Firstly , Canelo/Goldenboy have recently made strong statements suggesting that despite what gggs plans are , they will look in other directions before being forced to fight GGG next .

Cotto has also spewed similar verbiage . So despite gggs hedging game plan of hiding from Ward by pretending he's waiting for Canelo/Cotto winner to unify , neither fighter has confirmed any desire to fight GGG next if they win .

But this latest attempt to save face for GGG by saying that Ward didn't send the offer until after the Lemieux fight was signed is ALSO shenanigans , because u can just easily say that the offer came late , but you'll fight Ward next after the Lemieux fight if the Cotto/Canelo winner avoids us which is a viable possibility .

But they won't even say that , because the whole team is cowards !

When are Ward fans going to stop clamoring for a smallish MW as Ward CAN'T MAKE 168 anymore, he is a LIGHT HEAVY WEIGHT! Now clamor for Superman or The Krusher. Or lose a bunch of weight if he can, fight some relevant fights and then he can get a shot at the P4P king maybe next year at 68.

              Agreed !

If they wont fight him, they should stop talking about him.

Umm..... no, he is waiting to receive their demands.

Didn't he get offered a fight twice.

Ward wanted to use GGG to become relevant.

Problem is, then people see Ward fight and think, something's not right about the Son of God.

Able Sanchez felt the need to provide yet more excuses as to why his fighter CLEARLY wants nothing to do with Andre Ward.

Why did they feel the need to fixate on the specific date that the Lemieux fight got signed, when Ward has been calling him out for years?

Is this official excuse #9 ?

I would say 60-40 or 65-35. Nonetheless, if they were to ever fight I would side with Ward. Now Kovalev-Ward that's a toss up.
Ward needs to fight Degale/Jack, then move on.

                  Nothing for him at 68.

At least Kovalev seems to want it.

                    My take is.....

I have never heard anyone suggest that GGG could beat Ward comfortably.

In fact, I have very rarely heard a Golovkin fan even suggest that Gennady could beat Ward, period.

This new take that has recently developed on Ward, seems to be popular now that Lemieux is signed and now that everybody knows that the Cotto/Canelo winner will likely be next for Golovkin..... to be honest, before then, I cant recall a Golovkin fan actually saying that Gennady could beat Ward.

                    It will never happen.

                    Ward needs to move on.

                      I agree, good post.

Ward is stagnating worse than Golovkin, he needs to do something.

If he can make 168 he should fight Jack next, then Degale, then up to 175.
