Is that a real question? Everything. This "manager" controls the entire boxing programming of a major network, showtime, and is paying millions of dollars to buy tv time for his stable which he will comically disguise under shows with puppet promoters. No other manager does anything like that because most other managers are actually managers...Haymon is a silent promoter, master and sole controller of his fighters, and is basically the programming director at a major network that people pay money for (to hopefully watch good fights, which he rarely allows). Stephen Ezpinoza is a jerk but do you really think he was happy about Garcia vs salka or any of these bs special edition Saturday shows to give haymon's guys showcase fights. Of course not. But he has to do what Al says.

Bottom line: He is horrible for boxing and far different than any other manager..because he is not a manager.

I believe that was only 2 bud, recount. That will be two notable fights in 15 months. Wow, that's ground breaking.

Great attitude dude. Its ok to drink Lye because everyone is doing it. Haymon is a member if a set: {scumbags}. Show me where a baseball manager tells a player "sorry you can't play for this team because of the contract you signed ith me." And again show me how Haymon contributes so much boxing knowledge as I hear he is a regular Teddy Atlas for these charges of his. Haymon contributes NOTHING, as KING did as ARUM does. These guys have a monoply and convince suckers they are needed. In reality virtully all these contracts with Boleau Haymon should be voided because they are signed under duress.

If boxers were on network television with knowledgable fans and writers they would do well and the money would go to them. Promoters take money and fix it so no risks are assumed, they make money and the fighters are left high and dry when they can no longer perform. Watch when Floyd cannot fight anymore. Haymon will take his last nickel and fight the IRS for the change!

I'm not saying it's just him. I don't know who it is exactly. All I know is those are HIS fighters. So we will start with him.

It's like in football, when a team sucks, the coach gets axed 1st.

How did he do that? Oscar de la Hoya did that...Because of a large latin and american fan base who are knowledgable boxing fans. Haymon was just there as the middle man.

what notable fights are his rivals putting on? where are his rival's big legacy fights at? bhop vs kovolev? that's it? haymon just tried to put together one of the best cards of the year in december(boo boo changed his mind and boo boo isn't a haymon fighter). plus he's trying to bring boxing back to regular tv.
