oh so was brook a soft touch for porter? what about andrade for charlo? alexander for khan? matthysse for garcia. TR gives just as many soft touches for their fighters Haymon. TR's best fighter is fighting a damn ESPN reject for crying out loud. lol@soft touches.

A manager doing a good job getting the biggest paydays for the lowest risk possible for their fighter. Why would the average fight fan be cheering for that?
So fan's are mad at haymon for doing his job? are you saying haymon fighters fight more bums than any other stable?

I specifically said too many. Haymon takes it too far.

Just look at the careers of Gary Russel Jr and Andre Berto.

He ain't bad. Just at times he's made some crap fights. I try and keep that in mind. Just as I did when Khan was supposed to go through Danny with ease before facing Floyd. Or how Ruslan was this monster who would dismantle an unknown to 99% of the boxing fans in Algieri. These were all supposed to be showcase fights that backfired. Easily forgotten because, well, the name Haymon is connected to a few.

I guess we can blame Haymon for JMM vs Ramos, Ruslan vs Castillo or Cotto vs Jennings while we're at it

One of those fights was last year, and you are listing three competitive matches for his big fighters one year out of a LOADED roster. I care little for taking sides, I will not vouch for Pac v. Algieri either, but Haymon is definitely bad for boxing, Garcia vs. Salka is all that needs to be said. His "business" model is not feasible long term, just look how terrible Showtime has been for most of the year, they basically blew most of their budget on crap fights.

maybe gary russell but andre berto has fought good/decent opposition(ortiz, zavack, guerrero, quintana, soto karass, collozo).......not all Haymon fighter's are fighting bums. i can go through each stable and pick out protected fighters. Haymon isn't doing it any more than these other promoters/managers.

Bull****. The popular belief that Al Haymon pursues the biggest pay days for his fighters has proven time and time again not to be true. I could go on detailing a long diatribe of what Haymon does but at this point most of us know what he does. And it can be explained very simply..........

Al Haymon is in the business to get his fighters EASY money

                      Easy Fights = Easy Money

Whether you want to call it cherry picking, protecting his fighters, or flat out blasphemy, it's Al Haymon that embodies this managing style

If you know boxing, who people are signed with along with which top guys are fighting easy fights as opposed to competitive fights, then this crap should be fairly obvious to you.
