I am extremely biased here I loved Rjj dominance at his best, and that is the only reason I would even say he is #20

If roy is a top 20 ATG,, then floyd has to be a top 5 or 3 ATG,, his resume is much better than roy's

154 oscar, cotto, canelo > ruiz

hatton, castillo twice, corrales, genaro, manfredy, judah, baldomir, jmm, corley, gatti
      >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Can't agree there. Its deeper but I think Roy's win over prime ATG fighters give him the slight edge. Floyd's resume lacks that.

The problem with Floyd's resume is timing. If he fought those names at their peaks and in some cases different weight classes it would be a totally different story.

Yeah, toney and hopkins wins are better than floyd's but floyd has alot more depth on his resume and fought top guys for over a decade and a half...

floyd has bruscles, shambra, sosa, and some other scrubs, but roy fought that caliber for about a decade from 95-03

Roy's peak years after toney were very uneventful IMO

lmao at these poll results. RJJ was an amazing fighter. However, everything post Tarver still counts. People can claim he was instantly "shot" all they want to. He was shot alright. Somebody shot him.

I have never seen a more gifted, albeit akward, fighter ever, not live, on tv or on film. The guy was a natural. He showed up in shape for every one of his fights and thrilled the audience with the ease that he was able to impose his skills upon his opponents. Roy Jones was head and shoulders above anybody competing at his time and the many past years that boxing has been contested.

A bronze medal as an Olympian and various world titles as a pro.

It seems that people like to discredit Jones for everything that's happened past his prime. But it seems that nobody knows about Ray Robinson, Joe Louis or many of the other ATG.

Roy Jones stood alone in his prime and stands well within boxings 20 ATG in my opinion................... Rockin'

So you are asserting that Barrera is as skilled as James Toney?
