These fights are so dumb. All it leaves you with is, Okay, well if he fights in MMA, he won't win. Just like if Fury went into MMA and lost on the ground. The Fury fans will say, Okay, standup only in boxing and see if he can win. Obviously, whichever discipline you're going into, whoever fights in that discipline will have the advantage.

Did you guys catch that fight on Youtube where dudes fought in the cage, but are limited within the rd to one or the other. So if they survived, let's say Rd1 which only allowed stand up, Rd2 allows for take downs now. If you survive Rd2, Rd3 you're back to only standup. It was an interesting idea, but also lame because it almost shows, that the other guy is limited based on the inability to be efficient in the other style and you end up having the guy trying to just survive until the next rd. This is basically what Fury-Ngannou is about, except Ngannou has to do all 12rds standup.

We'll see when they fight won't we.

Every time an MMA fighter has tried boxing their punching power has magically become non existent. Conor McGregor, Mike Perry, etc

Why do you think that is?

When Ngannou has nothing on his punches when he fights Fury, what's the reason going to be in your mind?

Because they arent wearing 4oz gloves and in the case of Conor are fighting one of the best defensive boxers ever. Nobody is going to look like they hit as hard under boxing rules as they do under MMA rules because boxing rules make it harder to finish someone. Also Mike Perry was never considered a puncher.

That hes fighting a much more skilled boxer so barely ever lands anything clean?

How many of Furys actual boxer opponents look like they have anything on their punches when they fight him?

Mike Perry at one point had a 100% KO ratio and knocked out some ranked guy with one punch (forget his name) so yes he was. He had a boxing match against a journeyman and had zero power. Weird.

This "Ngannou can KO Fury if he lands" is the same nonsense they were saying about McGregor yet against Floyd he had absolutely nothing on his punches. He doesn't even turn his punches over because he can't punch properly at all.

When Ngannou fights Fury, he'll land some punches, on the glove and even clean to the head, it's inevitable. And magically, his power will disappear.

Won't happen he is painfully slow even with tiny mitts on, telegraphs everything & no doubt doesn't hit anywhere near as hard as virtually anyone on Furys resume. For all the talk of his power even in MMA - Cain, Arlovski, Overeem, JDS, Blaydes those are probably 5 of the most chinny HWs in the divisions history right there. They have literally 41 knockout losses between them, 41!

Not that he will land anything anyway.

That also, I am yet to see any MMA fighter come over to boxing and show any sort of real power even against YT influencers.

I actually thought Conor could punch somewhat and when I seen him vs Floyd I felt embarrassment for him. I've seen female Youtubers do boxing and have more snap on their shots.

Ngannou will probably not be allowed to KO this bum. An exhibition fight.

Truth. Listen, if he coulda, he woulda. Francis is in the big leagues now - boxing. This is what he, one of the greatest heavyweight champions the UFC ever saw, tossed the UFC title in the trash for.

It's gonna be a fun night. With any luck Fury will get serious again in the spring against whoever's left to challenge him after the summer fights, but that's up to the Champion. It's his world to rule.

As for me? I got no complaints. I'll just sit back and enjoy.

he 100% hits harder than Wilder. which is why he holds the record on sports science. Wilder can go break the record tomorrow if he wants. he can't.
He hits moving targets with power. Punch machines stay still. How the hell did you miss that? Jezz.
