Wilder fought nothing but bums until Fury. Wilder has never 1 punched a 250 lb beast like Ngannou has.
Valuev weighed 310 lbs. It's irrelevant.

Ngannou doesn't even hit as hard as Tony Thompson let alone Wilder.

Francais in MMA fights off balance and frequently throws hands while pushing on the wrong foot. He has a punchers chance assuming his power carries over but looking at some of his sparring it doesn't seem to. Fury has automatic and literal leverage in the sense Francais will also need to punch up. Francais also noticably pushes his head out in a light sparring footage against Stephan Bonnar. Fair enough it's playful but jutting your body forward like that while throwing is just poor form. He also seems prone to arching his back like a limbo dancer which if struck at the right moment will have him leaving in a stretcher and not from a KO.

All that said Fury is proving to be annoying. You want to like him but he's taking the piss. He's talented enough but we've seen those talents played out before. Something about how he seemed to downgraded the role of HW champ when he took the role annoyed me.

no Ngannou is also a physical specimen at 250 lbs. that's what makes it so rare.

he 100% hits harder than Wilder. which is why he holds the record on sports science. Wilder can go break the record tomorrow if he wants. he can't.

Hed be the uncrowned champion of the world and NOBODY would recognize Fury for the most part.

          Doubt it will happen though

Seth Mitchell was a physical specimen at 250 lbs. IT'S IRRELEVANT.

Ngannou doesn't punch hard in comparison to other boxers, he couldn't hurt anyone in the Top 20.

I like Ngannou. I don't really want this to happen, but I understand the guy's gotta make money. It's gonna be painful to watch.

Anything can happen between two world class boxers but Ngannou is an MMA fighter with amateurish Boxing ability.

He wouldnt have beaten Kimbo Slice in a Boxing match.

Fury will just toy with him and do what he wants. I dont expect this fight to be exciting or anything.

It would serve Fury right if it happened, but highly unlikely that it would. As far as what happens to boxing if it did? it'd just set up more big fights (boxing) for Ngannou ie a Wilder or AJ fight. Nobody is going to stop watching boxing over something like that just like nobody stopped watching MMA over Mercer/Sylvia. Its a fight, crazy shyt happens sometimes.
