And that would mean, based on your logic, that Floyd's victory over Oscar at 154, since he was able to show up at 164+ and healthy, was greater than a weight-drained Oscar who only showed up at 147 pounds for Oscar.

    Fighters should be HEALTHY.

Again, this is why I like HWs and they will always be the best...and why anytime somebody under that weight has to put "P4P" before "Greatness."
doesnt changed the fact the fight took place at welterweight. ok cuz pac beat erick and barrera, that means pac was also the best at 122.

    140- hatton is undefeated
    147-mediocre

but the reason oscar lost is because he is shot? it has nothing to do with pac right? i mean if it's Judah in there the result coulda woulda been the same?

No excuses but oscars is shot

If Oscar beats forbes again. is he still shot?

Hatton turned Floyd down Twice at 140, so yeah, I guess if that is how Ricky wants to protect his "O" at 140. Reminds me of Floyd at 147.

Either way, it still stands that neither fighter weighs 140 pounds by fight-time, so again, how is it a 140 pound fight? Oh, yeah, "division fight based on draining weight for a weigh-in, but you are allowed to put the weight back on by fight-time, bringing you up to 149+" Interesting to note that both fighters were the same weight as JrWW usual weight by fight-time.
All they did was skip the weigh-in.

If you think about it, when Pac was fighting at 135, he showed up at 147 by fight time = Welterweight. That's two pounds lighter than Floyd weighs in for his fight-time weight at Welterweight. What a system.

Ask Freddie; he has a whole story on why Oscar sucks now and what the weight did to him.

Freddie believes in making a fighter drain/train for weight so much, he wants to make Floyd come down in weight to "make him work" in order to give Manny an advantage. Honest guy Freddie.

For years its been said Floyd could easily make 140, all of sudden, he would be weight drained when hes a "natural" 135 pounder.

Again, what advantages does Hatton have over anyone at 147 when hes been nothing but unimpressive in every single fight at that weight?

I don't think I was posting at that time...I may have been on my sabbatical

It doesn't matter anyway because I don't give credit to Floyd for beating a past prime Oscar...nor do I give him much credit for 147.

Actually, Floyd's not really my boy but I'm like a Lawyer: I see injustice and I try to correct it...or is that Batman???

The only thing I could say was the difference, actually a big difference, was that Oscar at 164 was alive while at 147, he was a corpse. Floyd's-Oscar would have been a tougher fight against Pac.

floyd for now, love pac but not quite yet. The improvements in Mannys fight will translate into his next fight with a strong hatton, after that fight we will have a good distinction.
