For years its been said Floyd could easily make 140, all of sudden, he would be weight drained when hes a "natural" 135 pounder.

Again, what advantages does Hatton have over anyone at 147 when hes been nothing but unimpressive in every single fight at that weight?
Ah, because Hatton fought there once against Collazo and by his own team's admission, Hatton made the mistake of bulking up to 158 by fight time weight which made him tired. He did win the title.

Against Floyd, he went back down to his JrWW fight time weight; that was the plan.

Floyd won the belt at 147, and since Ricky turned him down twice, he was not going to go back down for the sake of a ****** charade weigh-in since both fighters would not be 140 pounds by fight time. They would be at their JrWW hydrated fight time weight of 149.
So, they skipped the weigh-in to make 140 pounds.

Hatton fought FLOYD at 147 and both weighed 149 pounds by fight time, which is the same weight they would have weighed had they fought at JrWW by fight time. The big difference, again, they skipped the draining of weight to make 140.

Hatton said "NO" to Floyd TWICE at 140 pounds.

It doesn't matter anyway because I don't give credit to Floyd for beating a past prime Oscar...nor do I give him much credit for 147.

Actually, Floyd's not really my boy but I'm like a Lawyer: I see injustice and I try to correct it...or is that Batman???

The only thing I could say was the difference, actually a big difference, was that Oscar at 164 was alive while at 147, he was a corpse. Floyd's-Oscar would have been a tougher fight against Pac.

well i would love for you to start a thread about it

he's not your boi? being so defensive and constantly trying to discredit what pacman has achieved doesn't make you one?

floyd's oscar wouldn't make a difference, i have told you before. goldenboy can't deal with southpaw/speedy out-fighters like pacquiao, the main reason why pac got a ko and mayweather only a split

Again, how does it matter since he was fighting Floyd, who fights at 149 by fight time weight at 147; same weight as Hatton does for his weigh-in weight for JrWW fights.

            Again...please discuss this

The only way you could get around it is by saying that the fight starts on the scales and that since Floyd hadn't had to make weight at 140 for a few years, he would have had to drain himself and it could possibly take something out of him...this is the Freddie Roach approach. But again, why did Hatton not fight Floyd even though he asked for it twice...so the only one to blame is Hatton.

I would rather my fighters be healthy; wouldn't you...or are you like Roach: win the fight on the scales?

Pac easy. He's done what very few fighters have done in this era.

Mayweather only lost to Castillo. Pac lost to two dudes nobody has ever heard of, Morales, and then JMM two times. So Floyd seems "greater" to me because he was less beatable.

prime oscar at 140-147 would still lose to pacman, guy has ordeals with speed/soutpaw and out-fighters imho
No mate, he was not undefeated. He had been knocked out by Holt about three years earlier and also had had a draw with some hack with only ten ****ing fights!

Diaz: an undefeated champion that no one had beaten before Pac demolished him? Sorry to break your bubble little pacman brother, but it had already been done and by lesser fighters than Pac, who did it just as well.

The result of this poll will be the likely compubox power punch stats for the two fighters if ever the two gets to meet in the ring.
