Diaz: an undefeated champion that no one had beaten before Pac demolished him? Sorry to break your bubble little pacman brother, but it had already been done and by lesser fighters than Pac, who did it just as well.
manny fighting diaz would be like mayweather fighting carl froch or some other 168 beltholder. both guys are not great fighters but they have natural size advantages that make them dangerous fights. diaz was even fighting at 140 until he moved down so he is clearly a much bigger guy than manny whereas mayweather never had the balls to move up any higher. the diaz win is very impressive for manny just as the dlh win because of the great size disparity.

When I give it some real thought I have to go with Pacquiao. He has faced the best opposition for often and more recently than Mayweather. It's very close to me but right now I have to give Pacquiao the edge. If Mayweather fought Pacquiao and beat him and then whoever the WW kingpin is then he earns it, until then, Pacquiao.

        Again...please discuss this

The only way you could get around it is by saying that the fight starts on the scales and that since Floyd hadn't had to make weight at 140 for a few years, he would have had to drain himself and it could possibly take something out of him...this is the Freddie Roach approach. But again, why did Hatton not fight Floyd even though he asked for it twice...so the only one to blame is Hatton.

I would rather my fighters be healthy; wouldn't you...or are you like Roach: win the fight on the scales?

look fool, you're the one who said Ricky Hatton had advantages over Floyd Mayweather at 147.

        What advantages are they?

By that logic, Rocky Marciano, Ricardo Lopez and Joe Calzaghe are all leagues beyond Floyd.

They all have more wins and have never lost.

1 more win for Chavez Jr and hes at Floyds level.

Pacquiao of course, he's been the number 1 p4p for a few years now, now he's getting the credit he deserves.

A lot of people never respected Floyd as number 1 P4P. He's just a hype job avoiding real competitions

Pac ATM but if Floyd beats Pac then he surpasses him

Also if Pac does'nt fight the best at 135 then i'm taking that the same way as Floyd not fighting Marg or Cotto but i expect Pac huggers to let that slide.

                      Where did I say that?

If you are talking about the weight issue I said that there is an advantage to both fighters fighting at 147 for this fight. Instead of dehydrating 9 pounds for the weigh-in for a 140 pound weigh-in, and then rehydrating 9 pounds for fight-time...at 147 you would only have to piss out 2 pounds and then drink 32 oz Gatorade to rehydrate. To only have to lose 2 pounds an then put 2 pounds back on is much healthier and can keep the fighters fresher than the other.
