No kidding, Gatti was a decent fighter at 130, above that, no so much. The other two were journeyman.

To everybody calling Oscar. Dead or Shot

          1. Whats your prediction before the fight?

          2. Did you call Oscar Dead before the fight? if you didnt then are you taking out the possibility that what happened can be attributed to Manny pacquiao?

          How about this :

          1. Pac's 1st loss was because he was only 17 and underestimated his opponent.
          2. His 2nd loss he was weight drained and still a pound over the limit at the final try.
          3. The draw with Sanchez was because he was fouled seven thousand eight hundred fifty five times.
          4. The draw with Marquez was because pac got excited in the 2st round and abandoned the game plan plus the cheap socks of course.
          5. The loss to Morales was because of size. He was fighting at 130 for the 1st time and looked very small compared to Morales. It was even a close fight deapite the odd.

All of these are facts and it all happened but are they valid excuses? If Oscar is Shot excuse is valid to discredit pac's win then all of these are valid as well.

C'mon man, Oscar was prime last year when Floyd fought him, but was completely shot when Manny fought him, everyone knows that.

So, with what you're saying, you could also say that Pac lost to Marquez, beat a weight drained Morales, a faded Larios, a handpicked 10 losses Velasquez and a even more shot, even worse weight drained Oscar.

That as bad as above, probably even worse, but you see how it swings both ways and you can twist it all to however you want to see it? No, of course you don't. You can't, that's why you post what you do.

He fought the best JrWW, Hatton, and knocked him out...even though I considered Floyd the best after Hatton refused him twice.

And I guess Diaz was the "Man" at 135

I said there was a possibility Oscar could show up "flat." If he was "healthy" I said, he is favored.

Oh, and remember what Freddie said before and then after.

He even admits in that last interview that was posted that he likes to beat fighters on the scale.

Pac lost twice by KO; lost to a past prime Morales; and had a tought time with JMM....NO excuses is what some other posters say.

                      Floyd still beat Hatton.

There was a big advantage for both fighters in making the fight at 147 and I've talked about it. Neither could complain about not making weight and showing up "drained." Both were able to show up at their JrWW Fight-Time Weight of 149.

And that would mean, based on your logic, that Floyd's victory over Oscar at 154, since he was able to show up at 164+ and healthy, was greater than a weight-drained Oscar who only showed up at 147 pounds for Oscar.

                      Fighters should be HEALTHY.

Again, this is why I like HWs and they will always be the best...and why anytime somebody under that weight has to put "P4P" before "Greatness."
