That all this **** about who is better than who could be easily solved by just settling it in the ring but of course Floyd Mayweather Jr decided to retire and "fight" wrestlers instead of settling it in the ring. Seriously i can understand people being a mayweather fan because of his talent but i cant understand how some people can defend his duckin of all the top welterweights. if your gonna gonna say ur the best of alltime then ****in beat the top dogs dont just run your mouth! Its like if Margarito retired without fighting Williams again or some other top welterweights that come around, i would knock him for it! I'm not a blind nut huggin fan. i want to see my favorites fight the best!
    spot on!

I've never seen Floyd hurt or even lose many rds. even the hater merchant sees him as the virtuoso. Who is the better fighter, just ask yourself honestly who u would bet your house and life on if they fought prime for prime......the answer u should come up with should be mayweather. Mosley thinks so, Roy thinks so, SRL think so, and even Hopkins thinks so. He is the great of this era!!!

if you are fighting 3 hall of famers and get 5 wins - 1 loss and a draw, that's pretty **** ing good. and yeah dont make excuses, a win is a win, a loss is a loss. you can always find excuses to any boxing win/lose, you and i know that

Three HOF fighters: MAB, EM, and Oscar?

EM = past his peak and weight drained. And beat Pac in their first fight.

          Oscar = Shot

Losing twice by KO hurts...no excuses

pac moved up 3 weight classes and won a title in 122. floyd moved up to 135 and beat JLC.

This is where pac moved way ahead of floyd in terms of resume.

In pac's first fight at 126 he fought the number 1 ranked and recognized champion not bs sanctioning body. That's like floyd moving up to 140 and fighting the number 1 kostya tsyzu or hatton in his very FIRST FIGHT. In comparison to floyd, who moved up and fought bruseles at 140 and corley. heck he didnt even fight any top fighters. he fought a paper champ arturro gatti.

Now let's compare their next weight class venture.

In floyd's first fight at 147, he fought sharmba mitchell who? he wasnt even ranked at the 147 class. Compare that to pacquiao who went right ahead and fought morales who was ranked # 2 at the time. For floyd to top that his first fight at 147 should have been margarito.

Floyd went on to win a title belt against judah, but we all knew it was bs belt then won the lineal belt against baldomir. Yet he managed to ducked real challenger on that weight class the number 2 and 3 rank margarito and cotto.

Here's how pac handled that transition into his fourth weight class. he rebounded from his loss to em and beat him twice. keep in mind em was STILL rank #2 and 3 when pac beat him. He beat #3 mab at that weight class then went on to beat marquez for the lineal title. who was ranked #2 only because pac was ranked #1.
Pac fought the 1,2,3 basically in his fourth weight class whereas floyd avoided the number 2 and 3.

in their fifth weight class. floyd got a win over oscar de la hoya. it was a blockbuster fight and a great win for floyd. but keep in mind that oscar was barely ranked # 5 by ring magazine at the time they fought.
Pac moved up to his 5th weight class and fought #3 ranked Diaz.
Then moved up weight classes and beat delahoya. an equivalent of that is floyd after the hatton fight moved up to 160 and fought jermain taylor after getting ko'd by pavlik or yet felix sturm or an old winky wright after getting terminated by hopkins.

            in all pac's accomplishment>floyd
you can say that again alright

I know, and you are right. Those fighters that beat Pac were just better than him on that day; that happens.

I just wanted to see your response.

I know why he lost the fights. I would say "reasons" others would say excuses.

You mean at 140+. Though it might not have been his fault, he could've or should've fought Tszyu, Hatton or Cotto at 140.
