Are you guys still going on on this one?
If Floyd moved up to super-middleweight

Body mass isn't an issue, not in this fight at least. Floyd will not be Sumo wrestling Joe........he is gonna box him.Floyd would get beat by Cal at 168, it would look like a man facing a little boy, are you serious? Ok OK look at it this way, ODH vs Bernard Hopkins right? You remember how tubby Oscar looked and how much bigger Nard was than Oscar? Floyd is even smaller than ODH and Calzaghe is pretty much as big as Bhop, it is MUCH too big of a difference in body mass.
Joe is not a monsterous puncher, he slaps and Floyd could brush that **** off with his shoulder rolls for the majority of the rounds and land quicker and more accurate eye catching punches that the judges would swing it his way.Comment

lol did he call me a limey? Calzaghe KO Mayweather. You limeys keep saying that you won't get into detail just how Joe would do that. How is a guy with a sloppy style like his gonna beat Floyd "easy" as most of you say.
How is a guy who slaps gonna knock a guy out who rolls with the punches thrown at him?
It doesn't make sense.
Maybe Floyd should fight Sam Peter since Peter is slow and throws wide punches. Floyd will just shoulder roll him into obilvion.Comment

a slapper at 168 is a monstruous puncher for someone who started their career at 130.
and I will repeat the following since you seem to have missed my first post.
Floyd gets caught by looping shots from southpaws (Corley and Mitchell both caught him, but with different effect).
Calzaghe throws about 50 of those every round. In fact throwing looping shots from his southpaw stance is what he mostly does.Comment

It doesn't matter that Joe is bigger if he isn't gonna close his fists and throw a hard meaningful punch.LOL...

joe needs somebody who stand in front of him like Jeff Lacy did in order to be fast and accurate and hurt the other guy. Wouldn't work against Floyd. He didn't look too good against Kessler and he looked horrible against Hopkins.
If Floyd went on the bicycle Malinaggi/Cory Spinks-esque which he has done before, he would potshott his way to a UD victory. He would brush off any flurried Joe would try like he did against Manfredo and continue doing what he does.Comment

Who were those opponents that he knocked out?????????
A buncha C level supper-middleweights who traveled to Wales to get the biggest paycheck of their career.
Did he KO Jeff Lacy throwing everything but the kitchen sink at him??? Did he ko Kessler? Did he ko Hopkins.
Defense will take care of all of that.
Thanks for stopping by fish.Comment
