We're not talking about Kessler or Pavlik..........but Slappy Joe.

However even with those two.....there is a difference between IF they were to hit him and when they hit him.

IF and it's a big if. Floyd doesn't take many flush shots and the few that did and got him hurt, he stayed calm and recovered pretty well.

Those two scrambling his brains is an exaggeration anyway.

You have factored in Floyd's fragile condition of his hands along with his loss of speed and power?

Not an issue unless it becomes an issue during the fight.

real supermiddles can weigh as much as 180 lbs the day after the weigh in, sometimes more. a fatter slower floid would be easy to hit, and this would be a lt hw or even a cuiserweight ( if it was calzaghe ) who walks around at 190+ lbs. floid started at 130, come on, he can't take a punch from 180 lb man, corley and judah rocked him at 140 /147, even joe calzaghe's slaps would seriously hurt floid at supermiddle

Respectfully that is what we're talking about not a knitting match.

Joe's slaps might hurt a guy without defense but as we've already covered it......Floyd's defense and rolling off punches wouldn't allow Joe's slappy punches to do any serious damage.

Floyd transcends weight like Pernell Whitaker and James Toney. Skills paid the bills for those two against many bigger and stronger fighters. The difference is, Floyd at 162lbs would still come in fighting shape as usual.

AGAIN.....my belief in Floyd beating Joe does not come because of Floyd but more because of the way Joe fights.

Styles make fights and I'm pretty sure about this. Floyd would outpoint Joe.

Because it could represent actual danger?

Joe never moved up from 130lbs.
