Spinks only stepped up from little middle to middle and Taylor was awful its not about overrating calzaghe i wouldn't give mayweather much chance against any of the top SMWs he's just to small and doesn't have massive power at WW so can't see him having the power to keep these much much bigger guys off him.

I'm not saying that. Personally I think Pavlik could give him a good beating yet I think he can beat Calzaghe. Pavlike is just all brute strength and just too much for Floyd.

But Calzaghe, those slaps and that off balance style just wouldn't work. I wouldn't guarantee victory for Floyd but I could see him pulling off a 116-111 type decision with superior movement making it hard for Calzaghe to catch him clean and counter punching Joe all night.

Would never happen. Mayweather has proven his defense to be too good for a slapper to ever knock him out or hurt him.

I agree, Floyd would get KTFO @ that weight no doubt ... I wouldnt put him in at that weight against Joe, Pavlik or Taylor tbh.
