The Whitaker-Chavez, Whitaker-Ramirez, Santa Cruz-Casamayor, Lewis-Holyfield's of the world that's of the same ilk as Toney-Tiberi, the CLEAR loss's. Are included as such on a resume. When a fighter is literally dominated and lose's the decision it's included on their resume. Everyone includes Chavez on Whitaker's resume because he clearly won it, same way with Toney and Tiberi.

You weren't addressing me but you still used it negatively for Golovkin. Why isn't the same standard used for Toney when his multiple examples are significantly worse?
No way did Pee Wee beat Chavez Sr. - expectations were low for Whitaker because Chavez was being touted as unbeatable, so when he was able to neutralize Chavez's attack casuals mistakenly concluded that must mean he won the fight. Whitaker never took it to Chavez; all he succeeded in doing that night was avoid getting beat up. The draw was the proper decision. You let the 'expectations game' spin your head around.

Jirov was at Crusier not don't know why that's relevant and Jirov is a nothing fighter anyway. Golovkin has better wins than that of Jirov.

Toney lost to lesser fights than Golovkin at MW, lost to lesser fights than everyone the list actually. No reason to think most of those guys couldn't do it either.

What win does Golvkin have better than Jirov? If Jirov is nothing so are all of Golovkin"s opponents that he beat.

Golovkin didn't beat Canelo whether you think he did or not and it sure as hell wasn't a convincing fight for Golovkin in either fight.

Anyone of his wins who's beaten a ranked opponent considering Jirov beat 0 ranked opponents in his career.

As an aside, this is becoming my biggest gripe with boxing fans in general. I've been hearing this a lot lately in arguments, "Everyone felt 'Fighter-A' was going to KO 'Fighter-B' but didn't, ergo 'Fighter-B' was the winner.

Its asinine, we are putting a handicap against various fighters based on expectations. Its more ridiculous than declaring one fighter the winner because of him fighting a certain style.

So what are you saying here, that Whitaker didn't beat Chavez?

I actually thought Canelo won the first one, and lost the second one. Both results fair. Just pointing out that the large majority felt Golovkin won that first fight.

If we are going to delve into fights where a fighter was unconvincing then Toney has Golovkin beat in that category by a country mile.

Hey I'm somebody so you can't say everyone, mate. Oh, and the judges too, almost forgot them. Yea, I'm pretty sure it's not everyone.

I think Lopez trashed talked himself into that scenario and when he ended up on his butt in the first round he was fighting an uphill battle with the judges. (Not arguing that Lopez deserved the decision.)

You can carry on being pedantic it doesn't change the fact that everyone knows Whitaker won that fight.

                      Oh sorry, 99% of people.
