Yeah, it is Robert Garcia, right down the street from my house...
Crazy, but Sergio Martinez just arrived into town for pavlik, less that 2 miles from Margarito...
If Sergio wins, Margarito is next!!!
If you guys know that every sanction has different rules, that sanction stipulates that the ref has the total authority to either disqualify or let it go on.. Its his descision.

Fernando Vargas was a very good aggressive fighter at the time. He was NEVER an HBO creation. He captivated the Mexican warrior status with his aggresive style and cocky attitude. He had the "i dont give a fuck attitude." Vargas was always fun to watch. He also had an enormous amount of talent... THAT WAS UNTIL HE MET TITO.....
His cocky attitude and willingness to fight anyone, anytime left him in the ring with one of the most brilliant gunslinger to exist.. Tito.. Tito has ruined a number of careers, Reid,Vargas,Joppy. After taking a beating from tito the way vargas did, youll never be the same. Thats how the average power Rivera put him down and the med. power DelaHoya finished him. Thats also the reason now of his style change, Hes afraid to get hit. Does Mosely have enough to put Vargas out, I think so. Main point is that before Tito, Vargas was a great up and comer, with a whole lot of potential.
Lets all remember, in the first four rounds of the Vargas/DLH fight , Vargas was toooooo strong and giving DLH all he could handle. I dont know what happened after that, Vargas' gameplan simple changed, he didnt look all that tired, i dont know what happened.. But he owned DLH for four rounds. I also think thats his only chance against mosely; Vargas is a lot stronger than most at that weight.
State that right please....VARGAS HAD EVERYTHING TAKEN FROM HIM FROM TITO... That fight was a good example of letting a fight go on too long... Every one is mad when a fight is stopped too soon, but look what can happen to someones boxing career when it not stopped when it should have been. Look at Vargas now, he cant take a punch.
That why in his recent fights hes started to box, he has too... he knows he cant take a punch.. Itll be interesting to see how he handles Mosely;; Ill be there....
P.S. I think TITO is still to this day not given his proper props... he was a killer... He ruined Reid,Joppy,Vargas' careers.
I take steroids, and the effects are totally non-human. You feel like an animal and can destroy anything... It also depend on which ones you take and how much. you can take a little Deca and it will help out tremenously or you can take a cycle of Deca, Test 400, and D-Bol and totally feel like youve never felt before...
first thing i ask is WHO GIVES A FUCK!! There both terrible. Besides, if you cant see it in the US, just wait and watch an episode of WWE on monday, same thing.
I dont get how you guys can say mayweather is the best at 140. Since when does it take 2 fights in a division to be considered number one.??? Yes Hatton has fought a lot of his fights in England, but hes put in a lot more fights. Talent wise, yes mayweather seems to be up there with roy jones, but on paper, come on.....
Some things i cannot under stand is how you can rank Brewster up there;; He hasn't fought anybody, and he beat Wlad, not Vlad. and the reason he won was that wlad tired mysteriously in a half a round. wlad had brewster almost out before that..Ruiz a the biggest
joke of this century,Rachman is a B slugger, and chris byrd seems like he does enough just to win?? Sometimes, Fres O. clearly beat him. The rest of these heavyweight have not fought anyone to justify their fighting ability..Mark my word, when Vatali is healthy, he will reign down terror of this mediocre division.
I dont understand what fight you all were watching; he looked like Mike Tyson coming off a his 3 and a half year layoff!!!! Reid was a bum from the get-go, holding for dear life the entire time.. all im saying is not alot of punches connected solidly, and when he goes up against a real fighter, who actually isnt scared to fight, a fighter that takes him into the later rounds, well see how many of those exhasting bombs he has left... A boxer would have torn him apart last night.
Im reading these post and cant believe that people care who wins.... Rahman should never be considered a boxer.. hes terrible. If i have to pick, i hope rahman wins so Vitali can murder him and hopefully well never see him again. Then i hope Vitali ends Ruiz's semi- entertaining career. The reason this division is a mess is cause we will pay to see people like Rahman,Barret fight on Payper view..When Vitali is healthy, this divison better run like its on fire...
IMO. I dont believe Taylor beat Hopkins. Hopkins put himself in that position. Alot of the first six rounds were very close in that neither was landing clean shots and both had the look of being tenative towards one another. Taylors punches, even though he through more were missing or slipping off. I only remember a few that connected. Hopkins does this to most of his opponets, but as the fight wore on into the last three rounds, you all have to admit, you thought hopkins was going to pull off his plan. If he did, we would all being sitting here saying what a genius hopkins was instead of "ohh how great Taylor is"" Taylor is not that good, in the last three or fou rounds, he looked like the old man. I am also upset at the lose for hopkins, but not so much at the judging, if your the champ, close like one...... He should of put The Tired Old Taylor Down..!!! I would have settled for the draw; like i really felt it was. esspecialy after that 12 round judge crap.
Guys, You cant take anything away from chavez, he was wearing Taylor down in the last two rounds; and besides, it is not the referees job to worry about time left. thats why they have the ten second clacker, and timekeepers. It was an unbelievable circumstance, but the ref did his job..
I gottch Riz, however, winky got his belts because of the top dogs vacating them. winky hasnt taken a belt from a top fighter in his prime. The reason him not getting top challenging fights back when is because of his rating.
I myself was devestated after the Tito fight(being a true tito fan) and what i saw was Winky having great defense and consistancy troughout the fight. IMO he needed to go for the knockout of tito to establish himself the way people think he is. HE clearly could have done it, but again chose to sit back and wait for the dust to settle; just like his whole career.
Fighters can always say they were ducked. I winky was on top they would have no choice but to fight. My point is i have no sympathy for winky. He was not ducked, he was not the best challenger in that division to warrant a top fight. He seemed to slip under everyones radar after the Vargas loss, and now that the dust has settled he jumps up and says how everyone ducked him.. I give him that he is not the most exciting fighter to watch, and thats part of the reason why people have never paid to see him fight. AS far as Spinks, i think he is a terrible fighter, Judah proved that one.
There some other things to think about on this fight.
1. when your constantly chasing you opponent around the ring and eating jabs, it doesnt take long to lose some of the sting on your power punches..
2. The Boxer usually/always wins. Peter might be suprised at the chin of Wlad, and become impatient and irratated.
3. Wlad is a great boxer with suprising powerful SHORT punches, peter tries to take this fight inside, he might be done early.
4. The most realistic way to look at it is that Wlads chin is no longer their from his loss to Sanders. Has been down twice since then, one to brewster, and other to williamson.
5. I think Wlads stamina problem was a fluke and a one time event, so if peter thinks he can hang in their and wait, i think hell be outboxed to death.
Final Outcome,,,,, Wlad on cards....
I hope, but i dont think it was his guidence that faltered. He will and should always be the one dimentional, couterpunching gunslinger. He will always be exposed by a boxer. If he goes back down to junior middleweight, no one can beat him..
