Who was it that had to go to the emergency room after the fight? Who landed 10 fewer punches than their opponent by the end of 12 rounds? Who was given the nod in every close round? - THE NEW MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, JERMAINE TAYLOR. This decision was garbage. Being the busier fighter doesn't mean much when you miss nearly all of your punches. Hopkins has Taylor figured out, look for a big knockout next time around.

IMO. I dont believe Taylor beat Hopkins. Hopkins put himself in that position. Alot of the first six rounds were very close in that neither was landing clean shots and both had the look of being tenative towards one another. Taylors punches, even though he through more were missing or slipping off. I only remember a few that connected. Hopkins does this to most of his opponets, but as the fight wore on into the last three rounds, you all have to admit, you thought hopkins was going to pull off his plan. If he did, we would all being sitting here saying what a genius hopkins was instead of "ohh how great Taylor is"" Taylor is not that good, in the last three or fou rounds, he looked like the old man. I am also upset at the lose for hopkins, but not so much at the judging, if your the champ, close like one...... He should of put The Tired Old Taylor Down..!!! I would have settled for the draw; like i really felt it was. esspecialy after that 12 round judge crap.

I wouldn't say so. Hopkins clearly won more rounds than Taylor, while there were a number that could be debated either way. So having it 116-112 for Hopkins isn't unbelievable in that sense. I don't agree with that, but I can see how it's an option.

It was not a close fight, Taylor clearly won more rounds. Parodius this was a close fight. No matter what you want to believe it was close. No one fighter dominated the other. If it wasn't for an idiot judge giving round 12 to Taylor it would have been a draw. Yes in boxing that's a close fight.

Don't score rounds even and you won't have that problem, chump. Even rounds are for wusses. Every round has a winner. If you can't figure out who it was, then stop trying to be a judge. Round 4 was the biggset example of an even round in my eyes. I seldomly give them out, and I honestly could not award either fight a decision in that round. Neither did anything to prove they wanted it more than the other.

Excuse me, I have a good argument. Taylor won at least 7 rounds in a fight scheduled for 12 rounds. There were no knockdowns or point deductions. If Taylor wins 7 rounds, that leaves only 5 for Hopkins. 7 is more than 5. Taylor wins. :D I will allow this as a good argument... assuming you can fucking lay out the 7 supposed rounds he won in a good fashion. Obviously Talor won rounds 1, 2 and 6. What other 4 did he clearly win? Oh, and Iwatch, nobody can take you seriously if you have the fight scored 10-2. Not even the biggest Hopkin's haters can have it scored that poorly.
