what about sugar ray?
uh, 70's and 80's? we arent talking the last 30 years now are we? all Leonard did since I've been an adult is get his ass kicked by Camacho. maybe you meant Mosley? or Olivera?
Willie D from The Geto Boys was a real fighter! check his record, I think he fought at 168. He was more gangsta than DMX and he had one of the best rhymes of all time in "Point Of No Return" from the GB album from '96. Didnt Earl Simmons just get done doing a stint at the prison where the inmates wear pink? I also blame him for every idiot who "barks" nowadays. His first 3 albums were good though...up in here, up in here
I hope this shows up on TV. I just wanna see the Klits fighting and on TV. maybe it'll be on HBO the week after Pavlik-Williams PPV as the live part like last weekend?
amateurs dont count but we can start with the first division manny won a title. he won his first title as a flyweight. so that means he will be jumping 8 divisions to fight oscar. not only that but he will be fighting a guy who actually knows how to box properly and has power. on top of that manny is the first fighter in many many years to step up to someone so much bigger than him that isnt a runner.
Toney fought Jirov at 30 lbs above the weight he won his first title and jirov wasnt a runner
I wouldn't cheat just like I dont steal, use drugs etc. But people always say my reasons are somewhat elitist and racist for not doing these things so I wont go into why.
it's not Dawsons fault, blame the fans or lack thereof in town. I'd go, but shit Detroit never has a big event anymore. Golota-Tyson, Hamed-Soto...and nothing much since
if you mean could he have pulled an Armstrong? then I think he could have tried. I dont think Homicide Hank had to fight for the #1 contender for each division but I may be WAY off base. either way, Pac is a beast and the only reason he'll be beaten anytime soon is by the winner(Floyd) of JMM-FM so, I think that yes he could've. I'm old so I remember when Manny was just a name I didnt see on tv who held a title. and he has gone on to be this beast. truth be told I like him more than I do Floyd, but Floyd is from MI, and possibly a top 5 all time P4P so I cant go against him. maybe Pacman will be his Tarver/Johnson to Floyds RJJ...we'll see. either way it's damn exciting. and in the name of Ketchel, I will root for Mayweather
not sure its a character. he may just be that full of himself and full of sh@t. and George went away for like a decade, became a preacher etc. I cant see Floyd becoming a humble, godfearing guy. someone is going to have to kick his ass before he'll even consider it ala Foreman.
yeah and ****ing wikipedia has it listed that BJ Flores the cruiserweight is dead. ****ing idiots. I tried to fix it but they changed it back. sad though, R.I.P.
eh, I'll never be sold on JMM. Lil Hagler beat him, Pac damn near KO'd him. he is hot and cold IMO. for PBF he will be cold. and lose. I see a stoppage and a huge Mayweather roar
Wow, they don't have it listed that he died in the actual body of the article anymore but there's still this under "Statistics":
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BJ_Flores
and they have his record all screwed up. I cant wait until he rises from the grave to appear on FNF soon
still sad that Benjiman Flores died though... :(
oh and if you type in "2009 deaths" into wiki, it now says Benjiman Flores, but it still links to BJ's page with his record all wrong and his death still listed in the stats
Mosley is still fighting Berto right? I mean can Floyd wait that long to fight Shane next assuming he gets past Berto? Doesnt he need money or some shit?
Byrd needs to stay retired (if he is). his brother Patrick can barely put a sentence together and I dont know if its from those Byrd family basement fights or what be when he worked at Meijer he was in bad shape. he was actually banned from using the PA system. I dont wanna see that happen to Byrd cause he's a good guy.
