when you are the man you get to pick and choose the fights you want to fight..
that means something to your legacy and your bank account.

Ask Manny Pacquaio ( didnt clean out the lightweight division) he didnt even fight the best fighter in the division. he fought the weakest champion and shook.
but guess what...when you are the boss you get to pick and chooose who you want to fight.
And who has Floyd beaten the past 2 weight classes to be this so called "man"? Not the best fighters in either division, thats for sure.
Anybody can cherry pick. Floyd gets more flak because of his talent, and you're one of his blind fans who buy into the bs that he shouldn't even have to fight certain fighters.
Pac was the man at 126, and 130. Beat the best fighters and moved up and taking a title at lightweight before fulfilling every fighters dream and getting Oscar in the Ring. After that he dropped down and beat the best 140 fighter in the world in HIS division. Now he says he's going to settle into 140 and wants all the best fighters around him. You see, thats what builds legacies...not money, and not cherry picking fighters for the most money. Not acting like you are above fights that don't meet your financial demands, just fighting the best fighters.
always been that way..

Anytime you want to come over to the history section and debate me on anything you are more than welcome. Don't feel special though, I ran plenty of other bozo's off that board and right back to NSB where it seeme the idiots outnumber the intelligent posters by a landslide.
eh, I'll never be sold on JMM. Lil Hagler beat him, Pac damn near KO'd him. he is hot and cold IMO. for PBF he will be cold. and lose. I see a stoppage and a huge Mayweather roar
See my previous post as to why you are a moron.
Yet another internet dumbass....this one from Australia. haha, I really do value my time so im not gonna bother lookin at yor last post.
I've got it figured out. JMM is still moving up and making the toughest fights. Floyd moved up and started cherry picking. Am I wrong?

boy...the guy takes a LONG lay off and comes right back into the game to fight JMM, ONE OF THE BEST FIGHTERS IN THE SPORT, but.....that aint enough? Come on, he could have EASILY fought Cory Spinks or someone, but he is fighting the BEST MEXICAN FIGHTER IN THE SPORT! Some of ya'll need to be realistic on here. Ya'll say yall fans of the SPORT, but anything concerning Floyd, ya'll are discusted! I mean for the SAKE OF THE SPORT, this looks to be a GREAT fight to carry us to the end of the summer into what looks like is going to be a FANTASTIC Fall FOR THE SPORT OF BOXING!
in response to the thread, I think he deserves credit. The man took a LONG lay off and is fighting a GREAT CHAMPION. I am not just saying that because I am a Mayweather fan, Anyone who does something like that deserves CREDIT...REAL TALK.
JMM called him out, u cant criticize Floyd for responding. Terrible career move for JMM imo...there goes the Pac rubbermatch.
See my previous post as to why you are a moron.
The Welterweight Division would be JMM 5th Division
The welterweight division is Floyd's 4th division
you figure it out
I've got it figured out. JMM is still moving up and making the toughest fights. Floyd moved up and started cherry picking. Am I wrong?
he will get full credit ...And if he knocks out JMM he will get more credit...
if you think it is cool for floyd to fight Pul Williams you should have no problem with this fight.
Paul Williams used to be a Welterweight and Now he is a middleweight...
and floyd used to be a lightweight now he is a welterweight
so it is no difference.
Beating Marquez at the end of the day wont effect anything i think about him to be honest.
i agree, at the end of the day jmm is still the lightweight king... he just doesn't belong above 135.
If you never saw Mayweather ever in your life, but just read the way people describe this match you would think Mayweather was some kind of huge giant fighting a midget.
floyd is too big and too good.
ROFL.
How anyone can use the "he called him out" reason is incredible. I am a Mayweather fan but come on now that is ridiculous.i agree man. i like floyd, but i call it like i see it. of course i will hear the whole thing that i am a hater from the pole smokers, but thats what i expect from the 12 yr old children that fill this joint these days. u know, the ones who have never even watched a fight. just pbf on you tube clips. sad, but reality
Floyd will beat the dirty Mexican like he stole something.
dude, in all seriousness...take that shit the fuck outta here. uncalled for, and disrespectful! have the decency to show some class, even though it's hard for some one of your caliber.
pwill called him out, marg called him out, ssm called him out, all prior to jmm? what's up....was the ringer off?
ROFL.

Marquez called him out.
He's just answering the call.
He's also coming down to meet Juan at a catch weight.
Most are just assuming Marquez will lose regardless what type
of fight he puts up.
Maybe he should give Juan all of the advantages he gave Oscar
when they fought.
I will say this, if Floyd doesn't blow out Marquez in two to three rounds,
or puts a hell of a whooping on him and let's it go twelve, it won't
look good.
