Lol why would cotto be HOF material? His best win was against a past prime Mosley that kinda troubled him...and he's beaten mediocre competition and that was at 140. He clearly lost to Clottey and low blowed a washed up Judah for a gift stoppage. Saul Alvarez's resume is almost similar to Cotto's at 154 lol
Don't really want to see it again this soon need time to forget about the 1st fight to get hyped up for a rematch
Tune up??? Ortiz vs Peterson II before Mayweather?
I think Clottey has a bigger fan base lol Bradley is not marketable. He headbutts a lot, poor punching power, boring name, boring personality, and he kisses ass...
I personally think Berto will change peoples perception of him this time.
I think he took Ortiz lightly the first time and will beat him this time. He has exceptional athleticism and needs to use it to his advantage
Besides the knockdowns Berto didn't win any rounds. I can see Berto wimning only if Mayweather softened Ortiz's chin...Berto vs Ortiz was not a close fight all Berto had were moments...
Interesting sig bandito
I think Roger Mayweather would've attacked Ortiz if he had KO'd Mayweather like Floyd did to Victor, would've been a riot for sure
Lol someone would of died that night
Lets not forget his poor timing and low boxing IQ, that guy is a fantastic athlete but he isn't much of a boxer.
Exactly, I think Berto has world class athleticism and he's a decent fighter, but Ortiz is just stronger with more technique, and he can damn near match him with speed. Plus Danny Garcia knows a lot more about boxing than Tony Morgan...
Softened his chin up? with 2 punches that werent all that hard? Im guessing thats the excuse you will stick to if ortiz loses.
Like i said i think he took him softly and will be different figther this time around
Its proven that a fighter's chin ain't the same when they get KO'd. Those shots felt hard cuz Ortiz didn't have his feet planted. Anyway I don't see how Berto can pull this off I see Ortiz winning this and knocking Berto down more than twice...He almost got stopped in round one. He says hes gonna box Ortiz this time but he can't even do that...
Cotto has to Jab with Mayweather even if Cotto's Jab is slower it is still a way to take away one of Mayweather's most underrated weapon. When he jabs with Mayweather he has to prepare to block that counter right. He cannot move his head when Mayweather throws cuz that will just get him caught with some **** lol....Good luck Cotto
Ortiz will beat Berto again IMO
I think it's complete BS that ppl say Berto was not being Berto in that fight. He did drop Ortiz and managed to stay in the fight after getting dropped three times and one was ruled a slip?
I liked Elie when he was neutral over anything. How he's more opinionated since he knows he will get interviews at the Garcia gym regardless. That's very unprofessional for a reporter. He also curses now as well. I remember back when ppl considered putting him working for big networks like espn. He's good at getting athletes to show their personality more, but now it's awful. His video titles have poor grammar and misspelled words. Wtf happened Elie?
A lot of people forget that Broner is 23 and won 3 titles in 3 different divisions. His body hasn't even reached its physical prime yet. He moved up too soon. He should have done what Mosley advised him to do and rule at lightweight until his body outgrew the division. Broner set himself up for expectations. He needs to know that going up in weight needs to be gradually done.
GGG has a better chance of KO'ing him with a bodyshot than a dome shot. And heres a scary thought GGG might be even stronger at 168
Lol he could be stronger at 168? He KO's junior middleweights lol where is this proof?
Malignaggi is a good fighter. He sticks his jab out, has decent footwork, and comes in shape. He's had decent wins, but the fact that he can't earn a fighter's respect with a lack of punching power has been his downfall. He couldn't back up porter and porter just worked the inside and Tyson'd Malignaggi. He's a two time world champ for a reason and has fought world class. Even when he commentates he's always on point. He sees things he would do and points out things these "experts" don't notice.
