Ok...so Tim Bradley is coming into the fight not relatively unknown but not known as a star. Win or lose if he puts on a decent showing how much do you think his fan base will increase.
As of now he could not carry a PPV on his own and I believe he still would not be able to after the fight but have a significant increase in fight options and be a little bit more in demand. Maybe the fight could happen with Khan at JWW or WW(ig GBP and TP could make it).
You're a fan of only those 3 huh?? I simply love the sport, most fighters are under that for me. I simply dislike a select handful. Pacman, Floyd, Gamboa & Broner, I tolerate most anyone else & watch as much as on tv, or my awesome fight sight!!
Pretty much. Active fighters that is.
I like lot of fighters, I like Marquez, Bradley, Khan (Well, not so much now), Donaire, Dirrell, Peterson, Wladimir Klitschko etc etc there's a long list of fighters I like, root for, and enjoy watching.
But those 3 are the only fighters I would say I'm a real fan of, that are active.
:lol1: :lol1:
Trust me, If I believed in the guy as much as you guys I'd be firmly on the bandwaggon.
The only fighters I'm a real "fan" of are Mayweather, Moreno and Ward.
But I do like Tim Bradley and have done since the first time I saw him in the Witter fight.
If he can pull off the almost impossible and beat Pacquaio then he may just make a fan out of me.
I'm rooting for him all the way.

If he beats Pacquiao, and looks particularly impressive doing so, maybe I'll change my mind. Floyd's never had stamina problems either, so I'd call that basically a wash. I'm assuming Floyd is the same guy as we saw against Mosley and Ortiz, and I can't say Bradley beats that Floyd.
Have you ever played Mass Effect 2? If you haven't played either one or two, I'd recommend all of them if you are an RPG fan. Mass Effect 1 is basically the same, but there is quite a bit of difference in the gameplay. Still a shooter, but not as good. Better story though. I'm a Mass Effect junkie though, anyone who asks me this is going to hear the same thing: If you like RPGs, buy them all. They are worth it.
Not saying Floyd's stamina is bad. I'm saying he simply usually fights guys that fade, while he stays fresh. He wouldn't have that major advantage over Bradley.
Oblivion & Skyrim made me an rpg fan, fallout also.. Resident evil too. I have matured to those games more than just shooters lately. i've just never played Mass Effect & wondered if it was worthy of those afore mentioned.
Does your physically include Bradley's incredible stamina & Floyd's age & layoff's?? I think Floyd should win, but if bradley does to Pacman what I think he will, the man is going to have to start getting his props & just due. 1 down, 1 to go.
Off topic, I've never played Mass Effect I was thinking of getting #1 & eventually all 3 should I??

If Bradley beats Pacquaio I'd love to see Bradley-Marquez at 140.
Not me, I love Marquez, but Bradley beats him bad. Bradley doesn't stall when countered or looks like he's stuck in cement off of movement alone, just saying!!:boxing:
Besides Marquez himself gets hit alot. Bradley is still the better puncher at 140+ IMO.

I'm one of the few stalwart Tim Bradley fans here, and even I admit that Floyd is just bad for him stylistically and physically. Maybe Bradley could fight the fight of his life and give Floyd trouble, but I really don't see how he wins that fight, at all. Floyd would have to drop off a cliff physically. Too short, too open. It would be a boring fight that Floyd would win easily, IMO.

Come over to the dark side Dan. Not like there's many of us over here, we have room.

You think so?? Well I consider myself a hardcore fan. Now while I do think Floyd should win. Bradley won't make it easy. Stamina & Floyd's age & relatively long rest periods being the deciding factors for me. Bradley has more stamina than most Floyd opponents that I can think of.

Hardcore boxing fans would expect very little of that fight. Maybe casual fans would get tricked.

Yeah, there is only 1 welterweight,(or fighter capable of making 147 that I'd pick over Floyd. That's the Punisher).
However as much time off as Floyd takes, there simply has to be some young welterweight that can catch him slipping. Honestly the problem with someone beating Floyd is his masterful matchmaking/borderline cherrypicking.
I never saw the Williams as the guy to actually beat PBF. For sure felt like he could have stole a win based on activity but he is so sloppy and with PBF being a sharpshooter I can see it being Williams down fall as well. But I respect that choice.
LLS at the bold I get what you saying but besides 2 fighters Martinez and Manny all PBF fights will be looked at as selective/cherrypicking.
Tough spot to be but I would take it for the money he earns per fight!
I think if Bradley wins and if Floyd wins, the fight between those two will be huge. It won't be the massive success Floyd-Pac would be, but I think it would be big for boxing here in the US.

I think Clottey has a bigger fan base lol Bradley is not marketable. He headbutts a lot, poor punching power, boring name, boring personality, and he kisses ass...
I can get with you Bradley upsetting Manny. That is not far off to me. But what other WW do you have upsetting PBF?

I'm on it with you as well. Bradley is legit. Been on his bandwagon since the Witter win. That was big for him to go to Witters backyard to take that title.
