Ward beats him with relative ease IMO. any person who knows anything about boxing knows this is true. Dirrell boxed Froch. Froch got frustrated. Andre Ward boxes, fights in a phone booth, fights backwards forwards you name it, he does it. Ward is the future of boxing and i don't see this fight going the distance. There's going to be chaos in Froch's corner, and Ward's boxing IQ and his ability to adjust is going to be too much.

Roach is an idiot. Donaire has good timing and is a master at counterpunching. He'd catch Yuri coming in and spark him out. Donaire has insane power and with Yuri's fragile chin he would take him out. Yeah totally true. Roach values speed and power too much. Any casual boxing fan would overlook the style of Donaire. HBO and Showtime created the 'new school' People want to see fighters bang. No one is down to see the sweet science. It's not smart to go out swinging and get your brain smashed around just to get paid... The number one rule in boxing, protect yourself at all times. Old school boxers understood that rule better than anyone. So in the new school you see bangers like Ortiz, Berto, Maidana, Pacquiao, on and on and on. More and more sluggers each day. But pure classic boxers are getting more rare. So i really thing the 'old school' is a style of fighting rather than ducking and dodging. ALTHOUGH i do agree that back then fighters fought everyone, and there is more dodging today (it's probably because of money)

yea actually at times Cotto looked great against Clottey. He was working the jab and throwing combos. But he was trigger shy in the fight against pacquiao Cotto had stuck to his gameplan in round 1, he worked the jab and he was going forward. But Pacman was just testing his power. Then Pacman laid it on. Cotto never adjusted to Pacman's frontal attack. Again, he could have adjusted with the right kind of advice.

cotto looked great, he looked strong and he looked solid in rounds 1-4. Pacman just rattled his cage, and Cotto could not adjust to me Cotto seemed in top physical shape

i'm not a Margarito fan, actually far from it. But marg beat up cotto way more than Pacquiao did. Sad thing is i don't think Cotto is the same guy since he was since the Marg fight. He just doesn't have the same confidence in himself. And he needs the confidence!!

i think it's kind of fun watching them go at it, but i do wish they could be friends they're both good guys i wish them long and happy lives

cotto was in great condition, he was moving 'til late. he just didn't know how to move, or be agressive in an efficient way. He didn't have the right advice not to mention the right trainer i was surprised too, Cotto did NOT look like Cotto..But pacquiao was great, i was sad for cotto because i like both fighters so much I'm torn

I'm a huge pacquiao/cotto fan also If Cotto had the right advice, and he had an experienced, well educated trainer in his corner that tells Cotto what to do, then the fight would have been a war instead of a turkey shoot It is clear that Joe Santiago is not experienced, didn't you guys see Joe putting on Cotto's mouthpiece and then give him water?! wtf is that?!

i said that in my thread that he needed evangalista :D i'm not saying that getting Evangalista back will eliminate Cotto's bad habits, but with the right studying and teachings, he can become better seriously, he should really consider firing Joe Getting freddy as a trainer is an interesting idea, but i think it's kind of a stretch, but by all means a good idea
