As much as I like Froch, Ward is just on another level. I think Ward will cement his place as one of the top 5 fighters in boxing with a masterful boxing performance.
I don't care how he would have looked if he fought who Ward fought... they're both in the final. When they fight, Ward is whooping Froch's head, flat out. You guys are going to be amazed at how easy its going to look too. I literally can't wait. My most anticipated fight in a while.
Uh.....yea. I liked him to win the tourney when it was announced. Glad to see that through all of the ups and downs with the tourney that he is in the Finals.

Maybe cause Ward has not even been warned about his holding or butts(notsaying they are intentional)..And that's because he has fought at home...
Is that a fact?
Um, first off, the Froch fight is in Atlantic City.
Second, I really don't understand all the criticism directed at Ward for fighting in his hometown. Has he received any advantage from the "hometown judges"? He's dominated every fight he's had in the super six. Froch on the other hand DID receive a gift decision against Direll.

ward aint that good imo. let me know when he takes a fight that isnt at home for a change.

I'd contest that.
Watching live, not scoring, I thought Kessler won. I rewatched 4 times after, scored each time. 2 close Froch wins, 2 draws. Didn't find a way to give it to Kessler.
It's at least arguable for either guy.
I simply cannot see that.
Rob McCracken told Froch he lost after the fight and Froch's face tells the story knew himself he lost.
We'll have to agree to disagree because on my card Kessler was the clear winner.
Close, but clear.
Uhmmmmm.....they both faced Kessler.....one of them won and one of them lost...
Yea and one fought at home and the other on the road,Ward might have been DQ'd in Kesslers homtown..
You had Froch winning?
I can't see how.
The fight was close, but clear.
Kessler clearly and rightfully won the fight regardless to the venue.
We've had debates before on scoring,my view here was Froch landed more clean effective shots which beat out Kesslers punch output..I can't be mad at the outcome tho, close fight imo..I have to disagree that Kessler clearly won..

I picked Froch to win and be in the final,we one step away..:boxing:
IMO I had Froch by(I believe I'm not home)1 or 2 points..I did not think it was a robbery due to the fact it was close..So in a different venue maybe a different outcome..

So what?
He still would have lost to Kessler whether it was in Froch's hometown, Kessler's hometown, or the Desert.
Atleast he would have deserved to have lost. Regardless to if they gave the decision to Froch like they did in the Dirrell fight.
Because Kessler clearly beat Froch.

It works both ways. Dirrell has never faced anyone with Ward's speed and movement as well. The difference is, Ward can switch styles. Dirrell? Not so much. Dirrell doesn't have the versatility or gonads to hang with Ward.
This is a good point and I think alot of people overlook this. Ward is versatile.

why did you start your post like you have a mental condition?
anyway
:?!: I agree that it's been less of a factor in a couple of his Championship fights, but he's used it with regularity to point-scoring and range-controlling effect in the others - of those latter, the rounds where he'd disregarded his jab were typically the ones where he experienced less success.
You can argue that Kessler's jab is more effective. My point is more that it's unfair to say that Froch's jab is just not good at all (he uses it in a few different ways to a few different effects, too, so it's a versatile tool).
I guess saying it's not good at all is an overstatment.
But it's not that good I would say distinctly average and certainly not as good as Kessler's which was being argued.
All I was doing was disputing that statment which frankly is outright false.
