I think Marquez would be more competitive than people think, but that depends on how aggressive Khan decides to be, if he fights like he did against Judah he could really give Marquez a bad beating. Marquez was sharp defensively against Pac, but he finds it hard to avoid a good jab, he had that problem against Diaz, and Mayweather, and Khan has a great jab...so this leads me to think Khan would win a wide ud, and could possibly score a knockdown along the way.
khan and pacquaio have looked great against limited oppostion of late , khan should be jus to fast and big at this stage , but ive followed amir since his 1st fight , marquez puts his lights out imo , a precise puncher with power , decent speed and a chin , ie JMM .Khans been dropped by willie limond and michael gomez amongst others , maidana whilst a banger , is neither accurate or fast #styles make fights !
Khan easy. He's so much faster than Manny and has better boxing capabilities. Amir might not have more power than Manny but that doesn't really matter at all - he has enough power to make him a formidable opponent for anyone. We all know how tough Marquez is so he's not going to get TKOed or KOed. The only thing in Marquez's favour is his counterpunching ability and fast reflexes but there's no way he's catching Amir with a powershot.
Certainly thinking differently than I was last week. Khan is still too big and he is a pretty good boxer, but he better make sure he doesn't jump in and out like he tends to do lately.
As they say styles make fights and i THINK that amir might be too much for jmm....He's a very tricky elite amateur style khan does.would love to see the fight made
I doubt it would happen, i'd like to see JMM retire.
And plus Amir Khan may be younger and stronger and whatever but JMM is a smarter fighter, knows how to adjust and is good with both hands.
It's about the smarter man not the bigger man
