it depends...imo cotto appears more focused and prepared..if his shots cant buzz marg then his heart will be tested cause tony will be on him like flies on $hit again. if miguel wind stays strong he wins late tko if not marg by late tko.
funny how from after the fight in 08 to b4 the fight saturday many posters were saying margs wins 10 out of 10 times they meet...margs will make cotto take a knee earlier in the rematch...now marg is shot to $hit wtf..."which 1 is it" ( in my floyd voice)
He doesn't hit hard. So you just get schooled all night long for what? I used to have respect for Mikey and for him to say that is some bs. Take your L like a man.
Jacobs was hurt a couple of times, maybe 3, possibly 4. Nothing major. Jacobs landed the best punch of the fight, a perfectly timed left hook which turned Canelo's head almost 180 degrees, but Canelo didn't even blink or miss a step.
Appreciate that. Cant imagine what's next for Canelo. He still has 9 fights to go on the contract.
I dont support you AB because talk is cheap and that's all it's been. Being at the crossroads of your career and you treat it like a sparring session as if you was helping Manny prepare for a fight.
Walters? Best win a faded small shot to sh*t donaire? Martinez shot to sh*t? And he loooooost to salido. Loma lost. Get that through your head he lost. Garcia beat salido. Broner beat thr living sh*t out of demarco the same demarco who Beat linares into a bloody mess. The same linares who just gave loma a tough. Fight. Broner is looked at as hot garbage lol no one praises broner for that lol and dont tell me about a tiny rigo......seriously. Guys like crawford should get way way more. Credit. While u are calling loma the goat lolol
Tell me Crawford and Mikeys best wins?? Crawford against a little Gamboa. Garcia against Broner? Don't get me wrong I like these guys I'm just still waiting to see them fight a true threat. Same goes for Loma and tonight was a good start for him put in situations. Styles makes fight so don't expect your theory to hold any water.
You say recognize true pound for pound.yet Joshua looks like a 4 round fighter who hasn't even fought outside his backyard, his demise is near, although I like Spence he hasn't been put in with anyone that would test his will. Same goes for Crawford. All the fighters you mentioned basically hasn't been thru hell and back as u say. Mikey gets dropped by Rocky Martinez yet nobody calls him a glass chin exposed. Let's hope these guys handle their business in the next year or so. Then we can discuss p4p.
Go back early in Floyd's career. He was hit with a lot of shots also because he stayed in and took chances. As Floyd got older he was more defensive and picked his shots. But no Loma is not better. It's way too soon to compare. Gotta wait about 10 years before we do any comparisons.
garcia whooped on salido. The guy who beat up on loma........crawford. Burns. gamboa. Indongo. Presscott. Varges. Lundy. Felix (who most felt beat freaking lomont peterson) the dude has like 32 fights. No one has seen enough of anything from loma after 12 freaking fights to be calling him anything above crawford. Thats down right a joke......and this is u guys problem. U are too in love with his style and really, just the way that the guy looks and in your mind when u look at him its overating his actual accomplishments in a pro ring.
I never put Loma over anyone. Quick to yell out mikey beat salido because he got the nod against Loma which a lot of people said it's controversial. Bottom line is Crawford, Mikey, Loma, Spence, Thurman need to line themselves up and put that real work in.
Loma is gonna have problems finding opponents at 130, might get fed bums. There's no choice to stay where he's at. Anything beyond is no good purely because of size.
Casual fans are down on anything or anyone thats not a winner. Its like i see a lot of eagle fans now. Who are also warriors fans. The moment a boxer or team loses its on to the next hope. Going with the grain so to say.
I believe Davis would answer the calls. But we all know he isn't the boss! It's hard to convince a boxing fan when the marketing and actual big fights aren't lining up.
To be honest, floyds best notable win in that list is diego corrales. At the time corrales was undefeated, feared. And floyd clowned him. The one guy i feel would have gave floyd problems and maybe even his only L was paul williams.
Which version of Tito? If prime I give him the nod on most. Him and Floyd would be close, could even be a draw. The later version of Tito got too dependent on the left hook.
Bob Arum usually like his own shows. Theres never enough money. Back in the day Don king, Butch Lewis and Murad Muhammed made the matches boxing fans wanted to see.
