Pacquiao's got nothing left to prove, he just beat an undefeated champ. But he'll definitely fight again. So who will he fight?
PBC probably wants him to fight the unified winner of Spence-Porter.
Crawford is on his 3rd weight class, so he's a more interesting match up for Pacquiao. He needs an opponent, and the winner of Crawford-Pacquiao would be a unified champ.
Which would set up a unified champ vs unified champ fight.
I think he'll fight Khan next. Khan's a huge draw in Saudi Arabia and it would be an easy knock out and easy money for Pacquiao.
..........Errol Spence
I'm surprised people think that the Spence fight is going to happen next, or at all.
I see Pacquiao at least taking an easier fight between Thurman and Spence, like Khan.
I really really doubt its going to be Spence. Team Pac and Pac himself I would assume, after the Thurman fight will no way in hell want that fight.
Never seen Pac so drained before. The dude could barely even get on the ropes. He was really really exhausted. His work rate has gone way way down. And in the second half of the fight he faded badly. He is not going to want to get massacred by Spence.
I don't think it'll be Spence either. In the lead up to the fight, Roach said they wanted to fight the best out there and threw out the names Spence and Crawford.
But after the fight, he acknowledged that it was a close tough fight, and even said he wasn't mad at the judge who scored it for Thurman because he said he felt that without the knockdown it might have been a draw.
Roach knew that Thurman isn't on the level of Spence or Crawford, so I think he would strongly advise a 41 year old Manny against fighting a 29 year old Spence.

You think Mikey Garcia is a lower risk and lower reward than Khan?
Mikey has a big fan base, but after Mikey's loss against Spence, his stock went down, while Pacquiao's stock went up after the win against Thurman. While Khan just made big money fighting in Saudi Arabia against a tomato can, even though he quit against Crawford. A Khan fight in Saudi Arabia would net Manny more money than a Mikey fight. Highest Reward.
Mikey went the full 12 rounds with Spence. Khan has been stopped and/or dropped how many times? Khan got buzzed by guys like Chris Algieri. Pacquiao dropped Thurman and ate everything Thurman threw at him tonight. Pacquiao stops Khan easy. Lowest Risk.
Hopefully it's not a ppv. **** would bomb big time! Mikey didnt go 12 rounds with Spence. He was carried. Dont think for a sec Spence couldve and should've made it a short night. Mannys agility would give Mikey a bunch of problems. Easy win, fight in cali or vegas, ppv would be way bigger than against Khan in Saudi arabia.
And I said a highest reward not lowest
Pacquiao is allowed to do what he wants as he should be. He is done for the rest of the year and will be back next year so. Damn 40 Years Old and in the running for Fighter of the Year :lol1:
Lowest risk, highest reward= Mikey Garcia. Imo.

either retire now after this fight or take on a easy one then calls it quit. the man's age has been showing but tonight, it really stands out towards the middle-end of the fight. pac is running on 40% of who he used to be.
I might get crucified for saying this coz’ real boxing fans always want to see fighters push themselves to the limit but I hope whoever he fights next, it’s a Broner/ Khan level opponent. I’m only saying this because as a fan of his, I’m concerned about his long term health. He took lots of big shots tonight Vs Thurman.
I have a feeling he will go after M Garcia as he should. Why go fight another prime huge WW. He was too gassed at the end. I dont see him beating Spence or Crawford. Both Garcia I think he could beat them and Porter, I hate seeing him fight. Make Porter vs Horn... They fight about the same
Khan sounds about right. I can see that happening in January since Pacquiao said he’s not fighting again this year. It’s a win-win fight for him since Khan is a much easier opponent than Thurman & he’s an established name so Pacquiao will make great money on the fight.
