Hearn said ben was offered the ibf lewis crocker fight but turned it down. Hearn was also trying to get him the winner of tonights fight as well for the wbc. If money is his lord then he allowed dana to get the one up over hearn and sacrificed all the publicity and any british support he would have boxing again in uk. Wrote his own retirement cheque with this manoeuvre imo
Personally think this was dana reaching into his own pockets to get one over hearn, simple as that. Connor benn aint no world draw, so if the numbers are true $10mil for zuffa debut fight then this was a dirty play by dana to get one over hearn. Nothing more, Connor will know it but hes clearly more motivated by money then loyalty or glory of the sport as im sure hearn was gonna try and get him a shot at the winner of barrios v garcia by autumn
Absolutely see no need for jnr to attempt to make a return at smw or any weight for that matter, made life changing money in his last 2 fights, looked completely shot to bits in last fight. Plus the medical issues hes indirectly mentioned he had in both camps. Theres really no need to risk health any further. Buds retired, canelo wont box him, and all other opponents wont make him any money so why bother
Looks like a blood sacrifice, to get the big money AJ had to sacrifice his two friends. Remember Fury said Wladimir worships satan - and Wlad never denied it either. BTW Barry Hearn is listed in the Epstein client list, you can google it and find it easily. Boxing may be satanic.
You must be a flat earther too... and of all sources your quoting tyson fury... , the guy spews so much b.s hes often not worth responding to.
Yet it seems like his team are going to force him to exercise that rematch clause... how can his manager be saying straight after the fight at the post fight conference that he will most likely be taking that fight again... he got battered, mentally destroyed... yet team haymon and finkel will make him take the 3rd fight just to delay that mega fury joshua fight... there own fault for not making the wilder joshua fight when it was offered numerous times.
Garcia is going to be taken to school and learn the hard way that boxing isnt a popularity contest... skills and experience pays the bills. He will get outboxed and be given a rude awakening.
What was the point of making such a pointless comment when your obviously going to be watching the most crucial fight happening in your division. I always thought Hearn was the salty bitter one but seems AJ is on the same boat. #Haters.

What happened Gypsy Queen?! King of trash talking YEAH? but you had nothing to say! This clown put on a strip show for the fans, Saturday he gets stripped of the lineal HW title! BOMBSQUAD!!!
Fury has done all the talking, its few days prior to fight night, hes ready... cool calm and collected, he no longer needs to promote the fight or try and win a mental battle with Wilder...
Wilder seemed to be rattled... tried his best to get a reaction from Fury... it wasnt even just a act as he visibly got emotional.... Wilder knows deep down this man doesnt fear me or my power...
Wilder still has better chance of winning but he definately seems rattled
For the record I think a fit and healthy Tyson Fury beats both AJ and Wilder. This is just a theoretical scenario.
They seem to already be in talks with Parker for a March/April Showdown. If Haye wins next month and manages to get another win next year around the same time i believe it will be AJ vs Haye next August... If things go to plan and Fury has made a come back in april and then again in late summer, I think it will be AJ vs FURY for the years end. Wilder aint going anywhere. AJ vs Haye and AJ vs Fury are huge fights in the UK and will generate more money then boxing Wilder. Fury Vs AJ... 50/50 fight if AJ lands he can put Fury down. Fury has the ability to outbox AJ and make him look ordinary. Cant see his legacy being harmed in any way as long as hes fighting top heavyweights that are interesting fights.
Jnr is has a good work rate, can keep It going for 12 rounds and can take a shot. Groves is past his best, seems to fade in 2nd half of fight as he did vs Froch 2 and Jack, and got caught a lot over the weekend. I think Jnr will edge out the decision.
So now we know the phantom offer was just a neg tactic, back to plan A, AJs show but pay more than 12.5m, I reckon it’ll be $15m plus 50% over $50m rev
This sounds about as realistic and good as Wilder will be offered should it be hearns 2nd offer. Lets see if they willing to come to the table this time around. Mind you hearn has openly said he wants wilder next, where as they have said they want the fight end of the year. A massive ppv like this usually takes 6 months to build properly (according to floyd)
Real Talk... First 6 rounds vs Brook Spence was having difficulty getting Brook on to the back foot, even admitting after the fight he didnt think Brook would be so strong. If he found Brook strong at 147... How do you think he would find GGG at 154? Triple G would walk him down id think, yet to see Spence box of the backfoot and use the ring which is what he would need to if he had someone bigger and stronger infront of him
I am from the UK too and the problem with Kahn is not his race or religion, it is his constant waffle about how great he is and how poor everyone else is, he never gives credit to his opponents, even getting sparked by Canelo, he went on and on about how he was winning till he got caught, same with his loss to Garcia, waffle waffle waffle. I really liked Khan when he came on the scene, but he is just an attention seeking whore now !
100% spot on mate. From the uk myself and followed khan since the olympics, was a big fan untill he got too big for his own boots, hasnt had a credible win since 2011 against Judah yet everytime he talks he says some dumb sh## about him being in the top league of fighters that gets him slayed further. Hes become a joke, hope crawford ends it inside 6
Needs to happen. Mikey got his big stage fight and a nice paycheck for turning up vs spence, now he needs to come back down and prove hes the man at lightweigh or even a catchweight inbetween. It would be good match up, mikey would have the size and reach advantage but i think loma beats him though
froch, frampton, bjs, price, calzaghe to mention a few.
do you remember a certain prince also was extremely hated
Prince was ****y, like a floyd, but thats what brought him the lime light and his fighting style obviously helped and he got the job done till he got ahead of himself, lost to a hof in his prime. Froch good fighter, only lost twice at the top echelon... None of them you mentioned suffered from what khan suffers from...
Being extremely delusional. He actually believes the crap that comes out his trap. Really is a dumb guy, proves it everytime hes given a interview. Hating on successfull people is a norm nowadays but khan gives everyone valid reasons for the hate
Everyone trashed AJ for turning down the 50mil offer, can be debated if that offer was legit or not. This ones a $100mil 3 fight offer for a guy who made 7-8 mil his last fight. And 1 of them 3 fights would be against Breazele for 20mil... the math and stupidity just dont add up. $40mil pay days you rejecting, say what you like the world can see for themselves who is ducking who.
Schwartz is too busy in camp to attend press conferences or do any interviews, so Fury has to tell the world how dangerous he is... lol. Whats next?...
Kash has some street fighter in him.
That deserves some respect.
More like was looking for the easiest way out. Threw any type of boxing career he may have had, even as a journeyman out the window.
Pricey would have done something.... if he wasnt so f@@king gassed... he was probs more glad then anyone else the fight was over and he somehow got the win. Terrible
No. In this fked up BUSINESS that boxing has become, he gained a name. When his suspension is over, he will have some good paydays headed his way, simply because people know his name now.
You have a point, hopefully not as he wasnt exactly winning anything or even throwing anything for that matter in the fight against price... spent most his time pulling his shorts up then actually throwing punches
Thats generally how rematch clauses work anyway dont they?? The loser has to take the smaller % percentage in the rematch. Good to know hes willing to accept 60-40. Hearn probably wants it more 65-35 though.
Khan priced himself out of a pacman fight couple years back according to Arum, seems like hes doing it again based on Hearns article. He avoided Brook like the plague even when he was ibf champ, the way khan sees it is... if hes gna lose it may aswell be a big payout and against a big name opponent, seems at the mo Brook is the more money fight over pac.. yet i think khan wants the Brook money from a Pac fight.... which wont happen as Pac wants that dough too... deservedly
Khan will fight anyone.... for the right price.... hell even fight Wilder/Joshua/Fury... its all about the money to him... wealth seems to come b4 health for Amir Khan.
