Vasiliy Lomachenko knocked out former title holder Anthony Crolla in the fourth round Friday to retain his World Boxing Association and World Boxing Organization lightweight titles. The 31-year-old Lomachenko delivered a devastating right hook to the temple that sent the Englishman crashing face first to the canvas just 58 seconds into the fourth round. Click Here To Read More]
I wasn’t even on this site till after Floyd’s retirement so you’re COMPLETELY full of sh.t
Secondly, u talk about Mikey fighting bums but he tried vehemently to fight Loma when they were both at 135 and Loma didn’t want the smoke. So if Mikey wanted to fight Loma, maybe ur right , maybe Mikey only wanted to fight bums, lol
Bob Arum July 2018:
“(Garcia) doesn’t like to take chances; that’s the way he always was,” Arum said. “Excellent talent, he has that.” Arum thinks Garcia is looking to fight Spence because, “Spence will beat him and (Garcia) can say I got beat up by a guy two weight classes bigger. He’s desperately afraid of fighting Loma at the same weight. Loma makes him look like an idiot. If Mikey fights Loma in the same style he fought Easter, he will get destroyed.”
Who's ducking who again?
I remember the time when Mikey and Floyd were fighting bums and YOU were cheering for them even after Floyd was gifted the Castillo fight and now Mikey getting pummeled by Spence.
13 pro fights 3 division titles making 4 so called bums quit on the stool in a row and your idols still have nothing on him at this stage in his career comparing apples to apples between.

Don’t write without the pertinent context. Rigo moved up two weight classes in the twilight of his career. Walters (a pretender) took a retirement cash out fight that he never intended on winning evidenced by the fact that he hasn’t fought since, and took the fight after a long layoff .
Linares and Pedraza aren’t worth mentioning, and Russell was a really good scalp that was a close fight where Russell dropped him with a left hook while Loma was lunging in.
Bottom Line: Loma hasn’t fought a threat since Russell, and is now continuing to avoid real threats. Instead of fighting Lopez, he’s avoiding him in search of safety fights like Campbell (whoever that is) .
And in an attempt to sound legitimate, he’s now calling Mikey out after he clearly ducked the fight when they were both at 135. He knows good and well Mikey can’t make 135, and if he can, it’s suicidal to go from 147 to 135 in one fight.
Loma is an actor who’s well deserving of an Oscar !

Rigo, Walters, Russell Jr, Pedraza, Linares all crushed like cans... These cans are on the best 130-140 resume in the last decade or so.
There's actually fanboys out there stupid enough to discredit these boxers? smh

When someone is constantly crushing Cans there’s literally nothing to hate on, except that there are some people out there that r stupid enough to get excited over it.

Well we all know boxers can change their minds, but if Loma is consistent, it comes down to belt/no belt, which means it has to be 135.
He has previously been dismissive of catchweights, so he would need a change of heart there too (and who knows, he might be at a place where he wants or needs to compromise on past positions).
It looked at the weigh-in that he wasn't trying very hard to make 135, and if he went to 140, got to question where he would put the weight on as he looks 'filled out' already. If he challenged himself at 140, it would basically be 'a 135 fighter vs a 140 fighter' and seeing if his skills could make up for the 5lb difference. But I already get the impression he's not a real 135lber and he's already fighting bigger guys at 135, so 140 might just be unhealthy. But don't forget who really calls the shots with Loma - his papa. If pop says 'no son' to 140, then that's what happens.
I don't think Garcia goes back to 135 either as I don't think he could do that without paying a price.
I suspect Garcia/Loma never happens, even if it would be a money generator (at 135+). I started taking an interest in Loma after the 2008 Olympics and remember a lot of 'will he/won't he' posting wrt whether he went pro, but when the decision came in, Loma reported his papa had decided 'no - staying for 2012 Olympics'. Point being his papa isn't driven by financial considerations, so even if a truckload of money is there for a Mikey fight at 135+, I can't see his pops being the slightest bit interested.
Anyway, time will tell.
That is a great write up. And I never factored in Lomachenko's father into the equation. He actually has someone looking out for his best interest in his corner.
And got the Loma haters hyped as well!
Where's Garcias pen? (Crickets)

Didn’t you get the memo? Loma wants to unify belts and Mikey has one of them. If Mikey wants to fight above 135 fine. Let him vacate his belt and let Loma take it from somebody else’s. They can fight later.
That’s where you and I go in opposite directions as fight fans. To me, “unify” is nothing but a fancy term for fighting a bunch of subpar opposition who happen to be holding meaningless trinkets. I’d rather have my big fight now. And afterwards, Lomachencko can return to his bum of the month club if no other bigger fights are available.
BTW, how does a Tank Davis fight correlate with Lomachencko’s unification quest? To my knowledge, he fights in a lower division. And Lomachencko’s diehards seem to be totally cool with him putting the belt quest on hold for that fight. But when it comes to taking on Mikey above 135, the belt quest becomes the most important thing. Make you say hmmmmm
I don’t care about the belt. I care about seeing Mikey and Lomachencko fight. If they can do it at 135, great. If Mikey wants above there, I don’t see why Lomachencko wouldn’t be willing to do it.

I'm doubtful Top Rank will even approach Garcia with a serious offer considering Arum's been dismissive of that matchup in the past and was recently going around saying Garcia lost his value as an opponent and unworthy of his time, never mind that he recently pulled in more ppvs than anyone other than Canelo or Pac (which Loma turned down).
he just beat 135 champ, Easter Jr, 8 months ago or so. and was chubby and flat footed against 147 Errol.
no logic, whats over
Mikey’s always flat footed and has never exactly been a body-beautiful.
What’s the purpose of Mikey’s belt if he’s not fighting for that belt’s weight?

If Mikey mans up??? How about Lomachencko manning up and fighting Mikey at a comfortable weight. I have no clue what Mikey’s plans are. But if Lomachencko is only willing to fight Mikey at a 135 limit. That has the potential to end negotiations before they even start.

You simply asked me how old he would be in 2020. I said 25. We weren't talking about the end of the year. Put me down as a hater if it pleases you. I don't care.
**** like that aint pleasing me man. calling things their names, thats what it suppose to be. you cant man up with your boy and call him a duck, just like your boy cant say a word without 1 of my idol's - Floyd or promoter Ellerbe. all your comments include hidden hate towards Loma.
whether you cut your veins or win a million in a lottery, that won't do anything to me.
I don’t know if he can or can’t. But he just fought at 147. And three of his last four fights have been above the 135 limit. So it’s not far fetched that Lomachencko only being willing to fight him at 135 may be a deal breaker.

wrong. 8 months ago, he fought with Easter jr. at lightweight.
he is turning 25 in 6 months. so how is he going to be 25 by end of 2020? see you are even trying to defend him in any possible way. in other words, you are little loma hater, bud ) and you evaded question, Tank being a duck if they wont fight by end of 2020.
"let the boy mature another 6-7 years" superstar in the making
