Pre-fight, "No excuses. I don't want to hear about a bad training cam" and "My 2 year old hits harder", "He's a coward and a feather fist".
Embarrasses himself wearing a ridiculous costume (then blames said costume)
Gets walked down from the first second and is beaten from pillar to post in every aspect and moment of the fight. Beaten up to the head and dropped with a body shot. Has a dude mock him with the tongue thing then takes him out and then homebody sings American pie and goes to the club dressed in a suit with no shirt, just a ties, sings some more and then you spend the next 4-5 days whining and making the best list of excuses of all-time.
Turns out the dude who is a coward and hits softer than a 2 year old is way tougher and stronger mentally AND hits harder than him.
Easily the biggest exposing of a hype job of the modern era.
Wilder wasn't 100% in that fight imo.. Fury wasn't 100% in the first fight.. AJ wasn't 100% in the first Ruiz fight. Haye wasn't 100% when he lost to Carl Thompson. Hatton wasn't 100% in the Pacquiao fight. Stiverne wasn't 100% in the Wilder rematch. Brewster wasn't 100% in the Wladimir rematch. It happens all the time in boxing.
Based on his pre-fight demeanor, facial expression and body language alone it was relatively easy to tell that something wasn't right even before the first bell. I thought from the moment Wilder removed his mask that Fury was probably going to win that fight - that's genuinely how obvious it was to me that Wilder was having an off-night, just from the way he was looking. Reminded me instantly of how AJ looked so uncomfortable before Ruiz 1.
I don't think Wilder was "exposed" or is a fraud. Most power punchers are overrated to a degree. A skilled boxer may beat a lower level fighter by decision where the power puncher may blast him out. By comparison, the puncher's victory will be viewed more favorably.
Most people knew his boxing skills were limited but his power usually carried the day for him. In the first fight, his power almost got him a victory and certainly salvaged the draw. In the rematch, it didn't come through and he lost convincingly.
A rematch clause where both parties have to agree is completely useless, actually think about it for a second and this should be obvious, if both agree its literally not needed. Thats different to prior agreeing on a split or any other contractual clause for a third fight.
No he doesn’t ,the loser was giving the choice to activate the rematch if he wanted it. If Fury disagrees and says no if Wilder does that ,it’s breach of contract .wilder has 20 something days to do so if he hasn’t already or it becomes void .
Not sure...just going by what kellerman said. He said fury has to agree.
Yet it seems like his team are going to force him to exercise that rematch clause... how can his manager be saying straight after the fight at the post fight conference that he will most likely be taking that fight again... he got battered, mentally destroyed... yet team haymon and finkel will make him take the 3rd fight just to delay that mega fury joshua fight... there own fault for not making the wilder joshua fight when it was offered numerous times.
It's a lot of money on the table so they'll take it to spite Joshua too since Fury-Joshua is the fight as it always was really.
It's funny, Wilder will take an ass whupping to spite another dude who offered him so much more money. Talk about owning yourself.

I think fury has to agree to it for there to be a 3rd fight.
